Introduction

Hello, my name is Duotem and I'm a semi competitive player on PC(ign:Duotem). I've played on two different challenger teams and made it to wildcards in the AVGL Fall 2016 tournament. This guide assumes you know the jungle role and deals with the theory around the build.

Pros / Cons

Pros
Extremely high early damage
Great for picking of the enemy
Very high mobility for farming and ganking

Cons
Gets blown up in late game team fights
Can be hard to ult without set up

Items

Start

This item allows you to sustain health and mana for last hitting jungle camps.
This item provides mana sustain and a lot of extra damage in the early game.

Potions: these are needed for early sustain in the jungle. Since Bumba's Mask and Bluestone Pendant both provide mana sustain you really only need 1 mana potion. This allows you to build 3 health to facilitate early fighting.

Skills

If you strike first from out of combat you get a 30% power buff for 2.5 seconds. This passive is huge and encourages aggressive play.
This ability increases your straight forward movement speed, but reduces your strafing and reverse movement. You generally want to ride in and cancel out of this so you still have the cooldown to jump away or chase as needed.
Max this last to save mana when traveling.
This ability is the bread and butter of Awilix's kit. You flip over the enemy god doing damage as well as rooting and crippling the target. You have a damage progression of 1, 1.5, and 2 which lines up with her attack chain. Using this in place of her third auto allows you to do damage in an AoE. You also gain immunity frames during the flip allowing you to time this for set up and surviving enemy damage. Another thing people forget is that if you hit the enemy turn away from them, but don't hit anyone else you can still flip over the person you just hit. You can also immediately feather step someone hit by your abilities if within a close enough range.
Max this first
This ability does damage in a straight line and if you hit an enemy from the side or behind it will knock them up.
Max this second.
This ability pulls the closest enemy god you that is in the air, and damages them when they land. It also gives you an attack speed and power buff for 6 seconds as well as keeping you from getting knocked back, rooted, or slowed for the duration.
Level this when you can as it increases power and attack speed in addition to the damage.

Ok guide, for the Item picks, don't just tell us what the items do, Explain in further detail the implications of the items and what they add to her play.

Things listed in the build guide.

Warrior Tabi: allows for the early game power spike
Hydra's Lament: Buffs your first auto attack after using an ability which is good cause you are weaving abilities and autos
Jotunn's Wrath: Gives you the relevant stats and cooldown to keep up pressure with your feather step and ult
Heartseeker: Adds 100% scaling to an ability which if you time with feather step murders someone
The Crusher: Allows her to more easily get the damage multiplier and reduces her cooldowns for hitting the autos she wants to hit anyways
Titans: 33% penetration, not much more to say here its literally just a bunch of penetration.

There isn't a big philosophical reason to buy the items. You buy them because they have the relevant stats and passives to her play, which I explain.
