Your cats do a lot of damage to objectives like fire giant, pyromancer, and gold fury. When using your cats for these objectives, make sure that the area is well warded and that there is no chance that the enemies can steal the objective. Once you use your ult, you are hard committing to the objective. If the enemy tries to steal the gold fury, your ult will be much more useful for killing the enemy than for taking the objective. W
When taking the objective, you do NOT want your cats tanking it. If everyone is healthy, use your cats to do damage, not tank for you. The obvious exception is that everyone is low health on your team and you know you can easily take the objective. Then have them tank for you.
Late game, bastet can use her cats for split pushing. If your team is about to start a siege middle phoenix and enemy's right phoenix just spawned at low health, tell your team to stall at middle phoenix. Bastet should go to right phoenix and split push by using her cats to tank.
1) switch brawlers and jotunss if the enemy team has a healer
2) Get heartseeker instead of transcendance if you are behind by a lot
3) Get heartseeker instead of masamune if your team is snowballing
4) Get Mantle of Discord instead of masamune if you feel your team is doing enough damage already, or you feel like you're getting blown up way too quick.
Same as any other backline assassin. GO FOR THEIR SQUISHIES! You are not an initiator, so wait till the fight starts. The enemy ADC and mage will be focused on doing damage when the fight starts, that's your queue to go in and kill them. You will kill them very fast, just keep in mind the tips about gods with dash that I talked about.
Bastet is one of the easiest god to gank with. Major takeaway is, don't ult till you know their dash is down.
Scenario 1: You know that dash is down on the god you are ganking or has no dash to escape
- Pounce on them with your 1, use your 2, use your cats, then use your 3 with basic attacks to finish them.
Scenario 2: You know that the god you are ganking still has dash or you are not sure if they have dash
- Walk or blink to the god and use your 3
After that:
- Most people with their dash up, will dash almost immediately. If this happens, then pounce to them after they dash, use your 2, then your ult.
- If they are a good player with their dash up, they will try to save their dash until you pounce. After using your 3, use your 2 on them. This will do tons of damage and even a good player will panic dash. Then pounce on them and ult them.
- If the player does not have their dash up, they will try to use their basics and abilities to try and outbox you. After using your 3 on them, use your 2 and wait a second or two. If they do not dash within a second or two, it's highly probably that they do not have dash, so just use your ult. Save your pounce to escape or finish them off.
This is highly debated and it's really down to personal preference and situational factors. Personally, I find a lot of success with prioritizing 4>2>1>3. However, if you're against gods that can easily CC you from using your 1 to go back (ex. Poseidon, Scylla, Athena, etc.), then you should max your 3 before you 1. Basically, max your 3 before your 1 if you think you need to play safer. Leveling your ult is personal preference. Many pros choose not to level their ult till the end. I love the damage from the cats, 100 to 0 a mage in early stages with just the cats, so I prioritize it.

I'd often agree in this case that
Also, I prefer getting
Also, you should consider
And regarding trans before jotunn's wrath, it's definitely something that needs to be thought about and I will include it in the guide. I have tried both, and in most scenarios, I did better with jotunn's instead of trans first, especially when there's warrior jungle.

But yeah, generally I'd also prefer Warrior/Trans/Jotunn's/Crusher...or Warrior/Trans/Crusher/Jotunn's.
Traditional stacking items should usually be before the 3rd item.
