*Note this is an extremely aggressive Ganesha build. You are not a tank.
Sell Guardians Blessing at end and buy Midgardian mail (or more power if you prefer)
Tap each threat level to view Ganesha’s threats
His ability to restrict your movement, which is already lacking can make you a sitting duck.

This build is designed to be an extremely offensive Ganesha. I have mainly used it in the arena to great affect but have also had success with it in Joust and Clash. Be warned though it doesn't give you much in terms of protections especially early and mid games so being overly aggressive can really cost you.
To Start:
1. Guardians Blessing
2. Chalice of Healing
3. Meditation Cloak
4. First parts of the boots
Early:
1. Finish the boots of focus
2. Meditation cloak upgrade
Mid-Game:
1. Pick up Chronos' Pendant ASAP, this gives lots of power and cool-down reduction
2. Continue build as above or prioritize protection/health if needed
Late Game:
1. Fill all available slots with maxed out items
2. Sell the guardians blessing and pick up either a offensive or defensive item.
Skill 1: Turn of Fate
This is really your main damage dealer outside of your ultimate so you'll want to build this early. It’s a great way to deal damage to multiple enemies or clean out creep waves. Another great perk of this is that for each enemy damaged, up to 5, you and nearby allies gain bonus damage for a couple seconds. A good this can be used as a good initiator or as a quick follow up to skill 3 remove obstacles.
Skill 2: Ohm
This ability both muted enemy hero’s in a cone in front of you and provides protection for nearby allies. This has two primary uses. One use is defensively, using this skill can stop enemy gods from using an ability giving allies precious seconds to escape. On the other hand it can be used offensively as well. Especially early game when you have to rely on teammates to finish off your foe you can use this to prevent enemies from activating their escape abilities.
Skill 3: Remove Obstacles
While this skill does deal decent damage it’s primary use will be positioning. Chasing down down enemies to simply holding them in place for a second to allow a teammate to come in and land an ability.
Skill 4: Dharmic Pillars
This is the ability that will really make a huge difference on the game. Especially late game when an enemy crosses through the pillars they deal HUGE damage. Position it correctly and you can catch the entire enemy team with this, leading to many multi or even team kills. This can be incredibly effective if you drop it behind the other team and then push them into it using obstacles and attacks. This forces them to cross the pillars TWICE if they want to escape.

And the build... what is the build? How did you conjure such a thing?
I’m still waiting for his comments on my Aphrodite support build :(
Just make sure you don't overcap :)
Start: Guardian's Blessing, 3x Healing Potion (or Chalice of Healing), 3x Multi Potion, Heavenly Wings or Magic Shell depending upon the matchup.
Full build:
Shoes of Focus/ Reinforced Shoes, Sovereignty, Void Stone (can swap sov and void around if needed), Gauntlet of Thebes (don't get if behind), Pythagorem's Piece, Spirit Robe, Emperor's Armor (to help with sieging). You can replace void with Oni Hunter's Garb if you only have one other magical damager on your team. Situational items would be Midgardian Mail and/or Witchblade (for multiple AA enemies), Winged Blade (multiple slows and can replace boots if you get witchblade as well), Hide of the Nemean Lion (anti-crit).
2nd relic choices would be: either of the two listed above that you didn't already buy and Belt of Frenzy, Horrific Emblem, Phantom Veil, or Shield of Thorns.
I know the build is cookie-cutter, but that's because of how the items are designed. There are three main types of supports: tank/peelers like Khepri, aggressive/in the enemy's faces like Cerberus, and healers like Hel. All supports fit one or more of these categories, unfortunately, Ganesha only fits the first one, so items that are mostly for damage don't do well on him.
If you address the feedback Bran and I have given you, I'll adjust my vote. Until then this is not a build I can recommend at all.
You say his 1 is his main damage dealer outside of his ult, and that's basically true, but it's a slow line attack and unlikely to hit an enemy unless you're right on top of them. Thus, unlikely to hit more than one person at a time.
His 2 does 0 damage, and is channeled. The whole time you're using it, you're getting nothing out of all the damage items, and you're an easy target for ranged abilities or basics. This is a big reason to build tanky.
In all, I'm actually okay with 4 out of your 6 items, and think he can work as a bit of a bruiser, by getting items such as Pythagorem's Piece and Void Stone. But Chronos' Pendant and Rod of Tahuti really need to go. In their place, 2 protection/utility items, and you're in a much better spot.
People aren't going to be expecting you to go squishy-ish when you choose Ganesha, so you're apt to hurt your team's comp/balance unless you're in a full 5-man group.
As such, again, I like the attempt, but he's just not meant to be a main damage dealer. Build lots of CDR if you want to ult a lot and trap them with the 3, but build so you can survive a bit more.
My one dispute with what you said is that its difficult to hit more than one enemy with the 1 attack. While I agree if you're initiating a team fight this might be hard to hit but if timed correctly can easily hit 3+ enemies. Also using it on a line of minions still gives everyone a damage boost so its a great thing to do before a big team fight.
