Cerberus's snake tail spits venom that passes through and damages Enemies. If Cerberus's dog heads are Alert, they then also spit venom when the ability is fired. Each head is alerted upon hitting an Enemy with a Basic Attack, and all are alerted after Ghastly Breath. Each projectile that hits the same target deals 20% less damage, but hitting an Enemy with all 4 Stuns them.

Ghastly Breath

Each of Cerberus's 3 heads releases a cone of noxious breath in front of them, damaging all enemies in range 7 times over 2.4s and reducing their Magical Protection up to three times. Enemies in the center of his breath are also Slowed up to three times. This attack immediately puts all three of Cerberus's heads on Alert for Paralyzing Spit.

Cerberus leaps a short distance forward, dealing damage on impact and severing the souls of Enemies. These souls will not block Cerberus's attacks, and killing the souls heals Cerberus. Killing a God’s soul grants 2s reduced Cooldown on Soul Expulsion.

Cerberus's haunting wail summons below him the souls of the damned, which then lift all Enemy Gods into the air while stretching the link between their bodies and souls, Damaging them. This knockup can be cleansed. A short time later, Cerberus uses this link to pull the Enemies to him. This attack immediately puts all three of Cerberus's heads on Alert for Paralyzing Spit.

Why I went the route that I did.

I'm very new to the game and I wanted a build mainly built around damage and life drain. One of the downsides to the build is the mana pool is fairly low and I found myself returning to spawn trying to regen mana. I hope that you enjoy the build and I hope you will give me feedback on where I should improve.

Hi Recluse,

As this build seems to be for current season (S4), I want to comment on a couple of main points.

Cerberus can deal a good amount of damage via his (if all 4 hit), but he is a Guardian and is much more effective being built at least semi-tanky (aka bruiser). You do SORT of mix a bit of protections in, but it's not enough, and these types of gods aren't true damage dealers, so it's not best to get offensive lifesteal ()...you could consider since it has a group aura effect.

In addition, building 2nd is really not efficient. It's super expensive and the passive benefits you the more power you already have built. For these reasons, it's usually built later...usually 5th or 6th.

An item like requires you to hit enemies up to 3 times to gain full anti-heal stacks, and this god is NOT a basic attacker, he's ability-based. You need CDR to use abilities more often, and you have none in this build.

Not really sure what you did with your skill leveling, but each skill can be leveled to 5...you've got...8 levels in Spit, 4 in Soul, and 3 in Torment...just pointing that out.

Standard builds for Cerberus will usually see the use of or , , , / , , , , etc...

Also, Chance asks in your other comment if you've tried or Warlock's Sash. Suggest against doing that...not optimal for him...
