We're gonna rush boots here as Guan Yu benefits very much from movement speed.
We go with Warrior's Tabi here as this kind of shoe fits Guan better as it does with most solos
Shield of Regrowth is going to excel here because of the upcoming buff Guan is going to receive, this will help his passive plus hand hijk more movement speed due to his heal.
Hopefully here with the upcoming buff, Guan will be harder to shake and defeat in team fights, on a further note he'll need to be hard CC'd, nonetheless Spirit Robe offers some great mitigation towards such CC
All of these items are great right now as it supplies nice damage and pen (cool down and others too!)
Although FrostBound Hammer is not so good right now, it's passive can help slap up some weaker skilled enemies when used correctly.

I do see Pestilence in there. I can understand the reasoning to throw in Brawler's Beat Stick as an alternate anti-heal item (though it's not usually suggested). But I find the lack of standard basic-attack counters like Midgardian Mail or Hide of the Nemean Lion to be a significant oversight.
The most I would ever suggest from your damage list would be Masamune. If you get that, you also have the option of replacing your boots late-game with another MS item, but I don't see Relic Dagger as an option...you do list Witchblade and Winged Blade, which is good.
But Jotunn's and Crusher? Probably not the best items.
Regarding your core, I can see the appeal for Shield of Regrowth, and although perhaps not a true core item, I could consider it close, and it's okay as personal preference. I can also understand Spirit Robe.
Your starting items are curious...you should be getting that mana buff, so why are you loading up so much on mana and multi potions? Your biggest issue early is likely to be health sustain, just like any other Warrior. Yes, you've got Conviction, but it's relatively weak early. It helps that the 5.8 buff will allow you to pop it often with the 2x heal from Painless stacks, but you still need more health, and you shouldn't be prioritizing Conviction in solo over the wave clear you need from Taolu Assault (unless you're facing an enemy that can stun you out of the channel).
I can see a compromise...maybe some Healing Potions, and a couple of Mana or multi potions just to help a bit with mana. But not completely ignoring the need for some healing. You're likely to take at least SOME damage, because your Taolu is a long cast, and you have to be right on the minions to hit them. You have no range.
