Introduction

A Isis guide by: Gusher

Hello, and welcome to my Isis guide. Over the coming weeks I will be doing my best to cover a majority of the gods in SMITE to give you an updated version of my builds in use of the current meta. I feel that there are not currently enough theorycrafters out there. So I will do my best to give you a large selection of gods to learn from.

Also a side note I moderate for a wonderful streamer by the name of Desanya be sure to check her out and you can catch me on to ask any questions:http://www.twitch.tv/desanya

Pros / Cons

Pros

Great wave clear resulting in great pushing power
Zone control
Strong harpie presence
Strong catch potential
Immunity to root and knock ups

Cons

Squishy
Misuse of ultimate can alter fights outcome
Weaker Mid game than most mages
Long cooldowns

Early Game

Isis has what is considered the best level three in mid lane. It is key to land all of your wind gust's prior to level three in order to secure yourself a easy first blood. Note* this does require a bit more of a aggressive play style which not all players will be comfortable with. On average your lane opponent will have a total of somewhere around 550-600 hp at level 3 (assuming they start Vampiric Shroud.

Also prior to level three it is important to utilize Isis's auto attack multiplier. Isis's auto attack consists of three moves which scale as follow: 1x/1x/1.5x it is important to note your third hit is an actual AoE that reaches 6ft around the target hit. Use this to poke early to set up your level three cheese.

Mid Game

If you are doing well at this point your Shoes of the Magiand Bancroft's Talon are completed and you are ready for rotations.

Isis has a very strong gank using your Spirit Ball and Dispel Magic will give your team plenty of time for follow up on your gank. Sometimes you want to lead with your Dispel Magic before Spirit Ball if your enemy knows you are coming and has a form of escape.

Isis also has a very strong objective control using her Circle of Protection. Your allies will mitigate 15% damage which means both Physical and Magical. Also if your team does a decent enough job of dealing damage in the circle your heal can hit in the upwards of 4900+ hp to your teammates which can be the key move to winning the team fight.

Late Game

Isis's Spirit Ball is a excellent tool that your team should look to follow up on. At max range it provides a 1.5 second stun which is plenty of time for your main initiator to begin the fight off of.

You have your Soul Reaver, you are ready to one shot a carry with it. Always look to land a Spirit Ball with soul reaver, this will chunk atleast 80% of a adc's health pool in one skill. a simple Wing Gust to follow up with and its a 5v4 for your team before anyone could react.

At this stage in the game the enemy teams assasin will be looking to 100-0 you as soon as the fight begins. Be sure to have your Greater Aegis ready, the two seconds will be more than enough time for your team to react and it also will blow the assasins entire rotation.

"Lets talk about the damage portion of Isis's ultimate. At max rank Circle of Protection explodes dealing 320 (+50% magical power) to all enemies within the 30ft radius of the circle. Lets say you were able to achieve enough damage to get your 3.5x multiplier before bursting your circle. Your build will grant you 593 magical power at full build. meaning the bonus damage added to your ultimate will be about 297. This brings the base up to 617 mutiplied by 3.5 comes out to be 2159 damage to all enemies within the circle. This is what makes Isis ultimate so great for objective control."

The multiplier is for the damage done within the radius of the circle, not for the base damage of the skill, and it gets up to 4000 damage. On a 1vs1 scenario, the amount of damage depends on two things: Isis's MP to take more health out of your opponent, and Isis's health so the opponents can take more health out of you before dying. I usually build warlock's sash and sometimes even ethereal staff and it goes really well. You get near the 2.8k health. You become very hard to burst down, and no one can box you in your ult. With the maxed ult you need around 1150 of damage to get the max explosion, so this gives you around 1.5k health to react. Great vs assassins ganks.

Thank you for catching my mistake! It has been fixed I appreciate it.
