Hello! My IGN name is Kronusdivine and i play smite,it was actually my first MOBA.
But we aren't here for my biography so let's get started!
Note:This is my first guide so constructive criticism is appreciated
Passive-Behind You!
Loki deals more damage from his basic attacks when hitting enemies from behind. His basic attacks also utilize a five swing progressive chain.
As Loki you usually want to hit the back of an enemy,if you don't,let's just say you will miss out on lots of damage.
Transcendence
Loki is very mana hungry, picking up this item early on will greatly help you.
As loki, you should always pick off low defense targets like mages.
When in a team killing the ADC is your main role, bursting down mages should also be a secondary objective.

for which game mode is this or role as having all beginner points in your decoy when jungling won't make you scary. And when jungling it should be lvled last otherwise you won't have strong ganks. Clearing the jungle isn't really a problem as a lvl 1 decoy will make sure you won't get much damage and you can hit the back of the camp for several sec (more clear speed)
I myself would also move up Jotunn's Wrath before hydra because early cdr and pen will do more then the passive from hydra as your power is still growing.
the job of the assassin isn't to pick of the adc in every case. You can better describe it as picking of the most valuable target. If the enemy adc is feeding taking out a mage or the enemy jungler has a bigger value
Aw, look. A scrub who's butt hurt because someone had a idea. How cute.
Do NOT undermine others for no reasons. As far as I can tell, you are the only one that seems mad here.
Critical items on Loki???
Ok I know that Deathbringer (DB) is seen in a lot of Loki build schemes from the top of the notch players, but I am fed up when some new guy is showing up,a n00b guy so to say,and wants to...share his wits.
I am also a major n00b,I don't even go near any Conquest matches, but i will say it once more:
Critical hit items are made for Auto-Attack (AA) Gods NOT for ability based ones such as Loki, and Thor (I see a lot of Thor build schemes where the Rage + Deathbringer combo is included...A pure vomit on everyone's face from dudes that thing that they know well a God because they scored a triple or a quadra here and there).
Even on Kali or Baka,or Merc, three of the auto-attack based gods, this Rage + DB item combo is not always present. It's one of the two and in some cases, some Baka Build schemes, there isn't any of them.

Hey dude, take a look at my Loki Arena guide. Like Crypto said (though it could have been said a bit nicer), crit items are best on basic attack gods where they can get multiple hits. It can work on Loki, but you may be better served getting more penetration items.
Consider Brawler's Beat Stick and/or The Crusher for objective pushing. You'll find the penetration these items provide do a lot for your abilities overall.
Hey friend I always want to say this to you:
You beat me to the hair-line on making a decent Assault guide, but oh Boy!!!
You didn't just make a "decent" guide. You made THE BEST ASSAULT GUIDE E-V-E-R!!!
Your guide is considered an epitome of excellence even among other game mode oriented guides in this community...
A question:
How the hell do you manage to play with this weird key binding:ZXCV for skill casting,ASDF for upgrading?
Do you navigate with the Num pad?
A joystick perhaps?
Hello,i did not realize you have already said this before in another Loki guide.Apologies for being careless and not noticing, but i will still keep the DB+Rage as i know some people prefer the combo.
Well apologies from me too,I was speaking in general,I did't want to point fingers. You core items are excellent,as Bran pointed out.
If you planing on keeping DB + Rage,at least incorporate some Atk.Speed,or else there;s no point on doing so...
Not saying Loki won't work with crit. It absolutely depends on how you play him. His basic attack chain is quick, so can work with crit, but he's so squishy and there's pretty much no room for defense or lifesteal, considering core items.
Fully agree with Kronus' core items list for conquest. I guess you could consider Titan's Bane a luxury, though it really does help bypassing inherent AND built protections. If we don't get that, it frees up 2 slots. We're considering that this is later game at this point, right? Crit is fine, as long as Loki doesn't get focused. If the attention stays off of him, he can move from target to target in a teamfight and destroy.
But considering Brawler/Crusher, it opens up his gameplay, too. Not only does it make his ability combo significantly more effective (no matter the enemy build), but he can sneak and get objectives single-handedly for your team, moreso than crit. Just things to think about.
Now, we have to consider the S3 changes. I'm thinking the changes and new options don't really change much for Loki, but who knows?
@Kronus, if you do see some merit in the extra penetration items, perhaps you can create other options for the final two items? Maybe an objective killer ( Titan's Bane + The Crusher) and the brawler ( Malice + Deathbringer) or whatever?

Thank you for the feedback.I guess i'll add your suggestions later when i have the time.

Hey man, nice guide.;)
Which Master do you have Loki on? just would like to know.
I have played a lot with Loki (mostly Arena;)) and have him on Mater 5 ^^.
I would first take some kind of boots, so that fits.
Next is Hydras. It is just sooo awesome on him.
Next i take Jotuuns, you know why...
But unlike you i go next with DB. Because it can secure youre kill on a god
Next is Malice, since a lot of gods have escapes, this will kill them.(the passive ;))
Titan's bane is the last I take. I know, noo protections....but it works for me.
over all, a very nice guide. If it works for you....great^^
Maybe work a bit on the gameplay section. New players may need it to play him.
if you ever want to play with me contact me in SMITE.....

Hope I could help you^^
