Disco why are you building power on kali blah blah

Lets face it. AA kali kinda sucks. There's a reason shes like b tier in all the big tierlists. Theres kinda 2-3 main reasons for this - 1) her early game s u c k s. Bad. 2) midgardian absolutely dumps on her. 3) bellona.

Building her burst fixes all of these (apart from maybe bellona but shes not a hard counter with this build).
1) with just boots and crusher you can kill a squishy with 1-aa-3-aa-2-aa from about 75% hp. Time you get heartseeker you can do it from full. With shifters you dont need the jump anymore.
2) who cares about midgard when you dont need to stick to them? Squishies that buy it still get one combod, tanks that buy it.. who cares? You only hit tanks when theyre last alive, and the slow isnt going to help them. Same with nemean, you arent w+m1ing with this build.

The build

This build can be copy pasted literally every game. Thats pretty much what i do - it works every game. The only time i really change anything is selling crusher for brawlers if i need antiheal late. You dont need defense, thats what beads and your ult is for. Blink in, 3-aa-2-aa a squishy, get bloodforge shield, jump/walk out. If they use beads and aegis (they need both to survive), jump after them and use your ult to commit to the kill, or jump out and look for a new opportunity.

Tips and tricks

Aa cancelling is key. You are pretty useless without doing it. Kalis 2 3 and 4 all aa cancel very well. Its actually a big use of her ult, that extra instant aa confirms kills more than you'd think, especially lategame when you're hitting for 600+

Blink is your friend. Blinking in is a guaranteed kill unless they have both relics.

For the love of god dont pick kali into serqet. Just dont.

Geb is a slightly smaller problem, but a shield will cuck your kill most of the time, especially early

Baron is a problem because hes baron and ugh.

Why should i listen to you?

I'm currently d4 in conquest, have been diamond since the start of season 4 pretty much. I have around 1700 worshippers on kali, largely from diamond ranked games. I have around a 3.0 kda on her, and about a 60% win rate on her (don't have the exact number im on mobile).

This just defeats the purpose of picking Kali. Why play Kali with this style build when I can just use any other good assassin?

Holy hell this is interesting.

So uh...you typically find 30 pen is enough? I know you get that pen very early in the build, which is great, but as the game extends (and if any of them pick up Mantle of Discord or similar with physical protections of any type), that close-to-true damage will get farther away. Any times you end up picking up either The Executioner or Titan's Bane, or sub out Shifter's Shield for Brawler's Beat Stick to get some extra pen?

I do like how your build gets bonus damage potential from AA canceling with Crusher/HS/Hydra's all present.

How often do you lead with Nimble Strike as you describe in your combo? Leading with it seems like a chance for enemies to escape, since you blow your chase/escape at the beginning, and you get less out of the heal it provides. You also don't have any extra MS like most Kalis would have due to Katana/SCS, so I'd expect you'd be normally leading with Blink or just walking right up to them and saving the leap.

I'm just wondering how much of your success is from the build, and how much is from your skill level and ability to choose the right situations.
