At level 20 you get 995 power. I You would sell your blessing and boots for the doom orb / tahuti
You can also replace bancrofts for polynomicon if you wanna make sure theyre dead with the combo ( Sic em, auto, crush )
Also you should get doom orb before spear if youre winning your lane, and deso first if the enemy is a problem. You still get both either way
Its all the same items but a different buy order
At level 8, I do the Scylla level skip thing and get my ult and crush

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

I can tell from your build that you enjoy having lifesteal, however for a build to be optimal with lifesteal (although not recommended on Scylla) building Book of Thoth is just not necessary. Yes a lot of power is nice but your main focus when building burst damage mage's will be flat and percentage penetration. Penetration is what makes all of that power you're building actually have effect, and also to note that flat penetration (the +10 from Spear of Desolation is much more useful against enemies which have less protections such as mages, hunters and assassins while percentage penetration (the 10% from Typhon's Fang) is more useful against tanks like warriors and guardians.
So my main point to improve your build would be to focus on either lifesteal or penetration. Not just building Book of Thoth and other high power items to try and reach 1000 with your passive because it's a bit overkill. As I mentioned earlier I can tell you like the lifesteal hits while playing her so I would recommend trying this:
Mage's Blessing > Bancroft's Talon > Shoes of the Magi > Spear of Desolation > Typhon's Fang > Spear of the Magus / Divine Ruin > Obsidian Shard / Charon's Coin > Replace boots with Soul Gem / Staff of Myrddin
This will give you good healing capabilities, with a nice amount of penetration and still a lot of power with also a better power curve than building Book of Thoth.
However for a true high damage Scylla build I would try using one of Kriega1's builds below. Or just using the examples to apply to your own play style, keeping to the idea of building penetration with the items we have both suggested.
If you have any other questions I or someone else will be glad to help, welcome to the site!
Also I'm flattered you named your arena build after me;)

Aah thank you for the assist. As for the skill levelling, I had to write in the skill notes that I do the Scylla level skip thing, where I dont level up at 8, and then level up crush and my ult and 9 for the passive boost early on. I will change my build up with this new knowledge, I just always had friends who built Scylla this way, and whenever I did it it worked for me. But thank you again :)
Mage's Blessing > Bancroft's Talon > Shoes of the Magi > Spear of Desolation > Typhon's Fang > Spear of the Magus / Divine Ruin > Obsidian Shard / Charon's Coin > Replace boots with Soul Gem / Staff of Myrddin
Where is Soul Reaver???
If someone forced me to go lifesteal build I would go cdr boots bancrofts magus reaver typhon's myrddin and sell boots late for Poly. Also dont go lifesteal build if you need Divine Ruin.
Suggested build 1 (conquest):
Start: Mage’s Blesssing, Magic Focus, 1 Healing Potion, 2 Mana Potions.
Build: Shoes of Focus / Shoes of the Magi > Divine Ruin > Spear of the Magus > Soul Reaver > Obsidian Shard > Polynomicon > buy speed pot and sell boots for Staff of Myrddin.
Suggested build 2 (conquest):
Start: Either Mage’s Blessing + tier 1 Book + pots OR Book of Souls + pots.
Build: Shoes of Focus > Book of Thoth > Divine Ruin > Soul Reaver > Obsidian Shard > Spear of the Magus > buy speed pot and sell boots for Polynomicon.
Can use either of the above builds for arena, but start tier 2 shoes instead and skip Blessing, and either no pots or just 1 Of each.
Also if you didn’t need antiheal you could try out: Book of Thoth boots magus poly Reaver Shard and sell your boots for Typhon’s lategame.
You guys both helped me learn about mages, because I always thought the more power the better, but completely forgot about penetration.
