This is the finished build used for Loki in the Carry lane if you are on the keeping up with your opposing carry. There are a few problems that you must prepare yourself and your support for and that is a slow early game. If you chose to go for a starter blessing I recommend hunter's blessing. Reason for this being the only other blessings that give damage would be Mage's and Assassin's, but the problem with Mage's is it doesn't give damage to your wave clear which is your decoy, and only gives you damage on your vanish and aimed strike. Assassin's blessing is kinda obvious but you do not farm jungle camps often enough to reach max stacks within a reasonable time.
Blackthorne Hammer - This item is extremely strong in matchups where you are going to lose early game pretty hard. Although I do not use this combination much I like to pair it with a Warriors Blessing for the extra sustain and protections you are going to need if you are going to get poked out.
Heartseeker - Although nerfed it provides movement speed and more to your burst. it is still a solid item but not powerful enough to be a solid staple in the build. I recommend building it when you are ahead to kill the other ADC as fast as possible and take all the farm.
Brawler's Beat Stick - Great Item against Magical ADCs such as Sol, Chronos, and Freya and is a good pick if the enemy support has Meditation Cloak or the Carry has Bracer of undoing.
Masamune - Great for sustain and I like to pick it up whenever the enemy jungler has beef with any and all Lokis. It gives a good amount of power and movement speed as well as protections and health. All around good item.
Warriors Blessing - This item is for those hyper-aggressive matchups where the enemy adc and support are both early game gods. While this pickup won't guarantee the early game will go any easier, it will help prevent you from dying and getting too far behind.
Against Physicals I like to start Tier 2 shifter's and potions it is amazing when you need a little extra defense to sustain yourself from being poked out and killed early and is a power spike when you are above 50% health and more sustain when you are lower than that and tends to save you from ganks. Void Shield is also an awesome item for more sustain and protections but also provides 20 pen up close and 20 power so you still get alot of pen and some damage on top of it all. The rest is kinda self-explanatory. If you find yourself needing to swap something out, take out void shield if you get really far ahead and get brawler's or crusher but this is one of the best builds against physicals.
In my experience you do not really play against magical gods all that often in the solo lane but if you do Ancile and Runic shield are very strong defensive and offensive items. If you are playing against healing gods such as Hades, Hel, or Aphro you can wait to build Trans and build Brawler's beat stick as well as build runic shield before Ancile to try to minimize their sustain as much as possible.
I covered both of these options before but they are both amazing for utility.
Jungle is not that great of a position for Loki since his early game clear of camps is not impressive especially in comparison to other popular junglers. He cannot gank very well either until around level 5. Be very careful with this pick as well because you cannot do too much early game and are vulnerable.
Teleport - is my favorite relic for ADC and Solo because you can back once every 200 seconds or die then get back to wave without missing any farm. When upgraded, if you place your wards right throughout late game then you can get behind the enemy team and pick off their Mid or Adc.
Frenzy - I like this item if you want to get the game over with as quick as possible. You want to use this item when you go to solo Gold Fury mid to late game and use it to take Towers Pheonixes as well as Fire giants and Pyros with your team.
Heavenly Wings - This item isn't in the solo lane. It is really useful against Chaac's slows and Horrific Emblems early game if you do not want to go for Teleport for your First Relic.
Hello! Please pardon my poor layout, this is my first guide on Smitefire. That being said I primarily play on Xbox one, my gamertag is Vrixium. I enjoy playing Loki and Ullr and have 6 Stars on Loki and 4 on Ullr. Message me if you have any questions about this guide or comments on what you think would be better and why and I'll update the guide. Thank you and good luck, have fun!
If you are at all curious as to what my Loki looks like at the moment, feel free to look up my profile on smiteguru just make sure it is set to xbox when you search.

I personally find myself building both of these to in the attempt to reduce my opposing solo laner's ability to fight me to a minimum, but if you feel uncomfortable with an aura debuff item, it isn't bad to swap out runic shield for another offensive pen item, if so, be careful and keep an eye on how much damage the solo laner does to you and pay closer attention to how much damage you can do.

He cannot gank very well either until around level 5. Be very careful with this pick as well because you cannot do too much early game and are vulnerable. If I were to play this position with Loki I believe BestMinionEver explained a different leveling strategy that is far better than that of which I came up with:
Beads / Aegis / Shell - All of these relics are always safe picks. CC immunity is always good. Invulnerability is good against other high burst gods or clutch escapes. Shell is good for supporting your team in winning team fights.
Teleport - is my favorite relic for ADC and Solo because you can back once every 200 seconds or die then get back to wave without missing any farm. When upgraded, if you place your wards right throughout late game then you can get behind the enemy team and pick off their Mid or Adc.

I prefer to max it over
Other than that I agree with the abilities ;)
Example: Say the enemy mitigates 20% damage. Skill #1 deals 100 burst damage. Skill # 2 deals 20 damage 5 times. 100 * 0.8 = 80 damage. 20 * 0.8 * 5 = 80 damage.
The main points to consider are usage of both
For
Situationally I can agree with prioritizing either.

Actually not sure what I was thinking when I wrote that, I was pretty drunk at the time so I seriously hope I was thinking about
But getting decoy to level 4 is just so good for proxy-farming though. Just go do enemy back camps throw a decoy between the towers on the way back. Yes it is scumbaggy to steal farm. But OH MY GOD does it feel good to be multiple levels ahead of the enemy jungler.
I do love the items though.
Maybe try
I have not played
And you are definitely correct about getting ahead in lane is more important than not having an aura debuff in your build. If you are behind you kind of just have to splitpush and hope your team can handle the rotation on their own.
Would you sell it late game though, and what would you replace it with?
But yes that is a insanely good item to just blow up the enemy mid/adc/jungle.
I have played a fair deal of
Personally I would go for
Still, I have a question, is a good idea to ditch Heartseeker for Masamune? I feel that Masamune helps a lot when people will try to gank you, so the build would be: Transcendence, Warrior Tabi, Jotunn, Hydra, Masamune and a situational (Bloodforge or Crusher if the opposite team has more squishies, Beatstick if there are healers and Titan Bane if there are more tanks).
Anyway, thanks you very much for the guide, simple and very good!
So, if I would have to choose between Crusher and Heartseeker, I should go for Crusher on Loki?
Not everyone will notice it though, so in low level games it will probably work.
