PROS -High defense -Incredible mobility -Great waveclear -Get out of jail free card Somersault Cloud -Passive that saves you in fights and often gives you kills -Voice done by the actor who played Goku |
CONS -A bit lacking in the CC department -Less than perfect initiate -Your salty teammates will think you bailed on them in a fight when they see you halfway across the map retreating with 72 Transformations |
Undefeated Body: (I ain't goin' down easy!) This passive is one reason why Sun Wukong is so scary in 1v1 fights. Basically, when you drop below 30% health you get harder to kill and you start critical hitting. While it might not seem like a lot of protections, dont forget that you are already tanky to start with, so the enemy will have one hellova time trying to kill you. |
Master's Will: (Slooooooowwww) This is a pretty simple ability: spin in a circle slowing enemies and dealing a nice chunk of damage. Max third. |
72 Transformations: (III CAAAAAN GO AANYYYWHEERREE)Take a look, its in a book This is the backbone of Sun Wukong's kit. When you use this ability you will change into either an Ox, Tiger, or Bird based on how far away you use the ability. Max 2nd! (max first if you are building damage) Use Ox form to knockup eneimes and get out of movement imparing effects (except cripples, posiedon is a piece of sh*t). If you are being chased and they are close behind you, back up slightly before using Ox form to knock them up!! Tiger form is your most used form. It allows you to cover distance, deal nice damage, and stun. This is a very disruptive ability, but can be dodged pretty easily. The easiest way to use this ability is simple: run up close first. You will have to get use to not using Ox on accident, but practice makes perfect. Remember that this can hit minions and camps, dont let them bodyblock you! Lovingly refered to as "The Bird of Nope," bird form is your best mobility tool. When you use this you become immune to slows and roots and move incredibly fast. Use this to catch up to enemies far away or to run away from fights like a bat out of hell. |
Somersault Coud: (F*ck this, I'm out of here!) Somersault Cloud is the second part of SWK's mobility and elusivness. This ability will channel for a moment before launching you into the air and leaving a copy of you on the ground. This decoy will attack the closest enemy god while you regain about 30% of your health back. After the duration is over you crash back to earth in a large AOE. This is great for both diving towers and for escaping. To dive, simply run up to the enemy in their tower and ulti, then crash on them. To use it for escape, first get farther away with 72 Transformations, then channel it and regain health before crashing down and using 72 Transformations again. It is much better to save this for escape, but sometimes you have to show them who's boss. Max last! |
Starter Item
As of late season 2 Bluestone Pendant has become incredibly powerful. It makes your poke disgustingly good and your waveclear even better in earlygame. Until it is nerfed use Bluestone Pendant in every gamemode and every role.
3.5k HP Tank
This is basically a huge middle finger to everyone on the other team. Tank Wukong can dive towers, dive phoenixes, steal objectives and buffs, you name it. Since you are so tanky with this build and your mobility is so high with 72 Transformations and Somersault Cloud, you will not die.
