Greetings, lovers of Sobek.
Sobek is a meele tank that deals magic damage.
This guide is for duo laning (i think Sobek can't go other way than this)
I mostly build him as a tank with a slight magical power later, but on the other hand it all depends in what situation am i.
In this guide i will show you some purchase order and skill sequence, that i use most.
Also i will explain most things you need to know about Sobek.
Be warned that you cant always use this order, because, like i said, it all depends on a situation.
*Note: My english isn't so good, sorry :>
Pros
Armor of the Nile
Armor of the Nile
His passive, nothing much to talk about.
You hit them with your basic attack and you stack magical protection and armor.
Charge Prey
I love this ability. You charge forward, grab your enemy, stun him and throw him behind you.
Use this spell to chase enemy even under turret, flip him over, and finish him with your teammate.
Also great spell for escaping nasty situation.
Don't forget that this spell does some small damage, so if your enemy is very, VERY low that an basic attack can kill him, throw this ability and he's dead.
Tail Whip
Also great ability.
You knock all enemies around you and deal nice amount of damage. Pretty strong ability, max it first.
Sickening Strike
Range ability, that deals nice amount of damage and heals you pretty good if you hit multiple enemies.
Don't forget that enemies affected by this ability heal 50% less for 4 seconds.
Lurking In The Waters
Sobek's ultimate.
This is pretty nice ability.
You dive in water, slows enemies, regenerates mana and is immune to CC.
After 4 seconds he jumps out of water, dealing damage to all enemies near him.
Canceling this spell will decrease damage.
You can use this spell to run out of cc like when Hades or Ymir casts ult, you cast this and POOF, you just escaped.

This is what i most use when laning.
Cast Charge Prey to throw your enemy over you, While he tries to escape, your teammate will do some nice damage to him. When he tries to run back, cast Tail Whip and get him back to your teammate/tower. If he still isn't dead, cast Sickening Strike. If he is STILL alive, cast your Lurking In The Waters.
Easy kill.

Best boots for Sobek.

Warlock's Sash
Magical Power, Health, Mana, and plus all that stacking. Very good item.
Hide of Leviathan
Physical and Magical protection, HP, Mana. Awesome!
Rod of Tahuti
With this item, you will get ALOT of damage.
Polynomicon
Nice amount of Magical Power, 10% Lifesteal, Mana, and your basic ability does +100% of your magic power in damage. And cd is only 2 seconds!
This is very nice item for Sobek, because you will basic attack your enemy to activate your passive, and now you deal even more damage with your basic attack!
Im playing with Sobek for awhile now, but not long enough to know how is it to lane with all gods currently ingame, so i will show who proved so far to be best to lane with.
*Tip: So far meele gods had proven better laning with Sobek because when you cast Charge Prey enemy goes right in front of them.
Sun Wukong
I love to laning with this guy!
He has some nasty psyhical damage, and his abilities combined with Sobek's is a fast and secure kill.
Odin
Actually this guy is amazing to lane with!
Nice damage, nice buff, and his ult combined with Sobek's is a pretty nice combo!
Kali
Kali is strong god. When you put her with Sobek she is insane! harassing enemies with Blood Lash and Sobek with Sickening Strike or even Tail Whip will get those enemies down to low hp! And then you slow your enemies with ult so she can cast hers and UAHAUAHUAHH, killing spree!
Thor
Thor and you can get some kills, not bad combo, not much to say about it(sigh)
Artemis
Well she is range, Sobek doesn't like that! But actually they can prove as a nice laning parters.
