These items are what you start off with when you enter the game.
From the items mentioned before, it'd be ideal to afford boots upon your first back. Finish any left over gold with any additional potions. Your teammates ideally would leave mana buff for you.
After you have your boots, it's priority to finish up your chronos pendant. This way you get a decent power spike, since your passive would've ticked for the first time, not to mention the additional power from chronos pendant. On top of that, your abilities will have extremely reduced cooldowns, so use that to your advantage!
By this time, you will want to start working on penetration. It allows for true damage, and helps greatly against tanky opponents!
Scylla is a relatively safe god, thanks to her 3 ability. however, there will be situations in which you can't shake a god, and fighting is your only option. That's where magical lifesteal comes into play, and what better way to use this, then with bancroft's talon!
Next, it's time to really get that magical power rolling. Rod of tahuti will significantly increase your power, and makes you regain mana!
Finally, we're getting rid of the attacker's blessing. Time to get more power into our build, and lots of it!

Build this instead: Book of Thoth, Shoes of the Magi, Chronos' Pendant, Obsidian Shard, Soul Reaver, Ethereal Staff. (Can also swap ethereal for Divine Ruin.)
I have some: Scylla cannot make good use of it because of how its passive works. Every other type of magical penetration would be much more effective on her, especially considering that Divine Ruin costs exactly the same and [spear of desolation]] is only 300 gold more expensive. There is absolutely no good reason to buy Spear of the Magus on gods who do not have ticking or quickly stacking damage.
Spear of the Magus seems to be an unusual choice for her. She doesn't reliably build up max stacks with her kit...best gods to get Magus for are those with DoT / ticking abilities (like Anubis, Ah Puch, Zhong Kui, Poseidon, Raijin, etc.), or fast basic attacks ( Freya). Your better bet will probably be to get Spear of Desolation or Divine Ruin (against healing) in this spot, and depending on tankiness of the enemy team, an optional late Obsidian Shard.
Bancroft's Talon is a nice item overall, but for most abilities, she'll only get 1/3 the effectiveness of the actual lifesteal, due to the AOE effect both Crush and I'm a Monster have. It's still good for the power potential, though, so it's a decent item for her. I do like your explanation for the choice.
