-The smite team doesn't put out patches that are good, fair, or even remotely ballanced
-The smite community is so toxic it makes me question my sadism levels.
-Competitively the game is focused on like, three or four players that nobody can beat. (Incon, BaRRA, Zapman)
-I hate winning over and over again, i just wanna go back to playing for fun and not needing to care about winning or maintaining my WR.
-I don't want to donate time for this game anymore.
-SoloQ is broken and you can't 5 man for comp.
-They abandoned the concept of rituals*
-I can't learn anything anymore besides item/hero changes.
-I'm not playing with the pros anymore.
*while I agree that combat blink was broken, i would have though that they would've added dust and smoke like in DOTA, which is a beautiful mechanic that they failed to implement and I was very sad 'bout that.
But you get some actuall toxic players as well ofc. I'm from eu server though, used to play some on NA as well like 2 years ago and that seemd a lot more toxic.
Games like lol and hon (haven't played dota much) was a lot worse in my experience.
When it comes to the game, it is what it is and always have been. If you dont enjoy it anymore that is just fine. Personally i got kind of bored with it 2 years ago and pretty much only played drunk with mates every other weekends for a long time. And now i am enjoying playing the game seriously again :p

I'd say that's subjective. I've personally been fine with the patches overall. Sure there's always something to complain about, but you can also just go with the flow and adapt...if you so choose.

I don't like any toxicity either. I just wish people would get along and have fun, win or lose. That said, I believe this community is no more toxic than a lot of others these days. People have just gotten really, really bad hiding behind their consoles and PCs. I'd say respect in general is just worse than in the past, including playing games and everything else social.

Eh?
-I hate winning over and over again, i just wanna go back to playing for fun and not needing to care about winning or maintaining my WR.
Then do so. This one's entirely your choice.
-I don't want to donate time for this game anymore.
Ok.
-SoloQ is broken and you can't 5 man for comp.
Can't argue that.
-They abandoned the concept of rituals*
Personally, thank god. Didn't really like them.
-I can't learn anything anymore besides item/hero changes.
If that's your feeling then you've already lost. Anyone, anywhere, can always learn something new.
-I'm not playing with the pros anymore.
Ok.
Personally, I think you need to have 1) a lot of patience, and 2) thick skin to really enjoy a MOBA. And sometimes, the novelty of the game just wears off. It's understandable.
IMO LoL or DotA look the most toxic. This is because they have an all chat. Making it so that you can experience (or what I like to make even worse/help) a tilting/toxic enemy player.
From my own experience I can tell you that the amount of games with a toxic player is slightly higher in LoL, but not far from smite toxic games. However in smite you only see your own teams chat which changes the lvls of toxticity.
And this is only compared on ARAM. Last time I played CQ solo was 1/2 year after release. In which every soloQ game felt as hell instead of ~every 10th game. Even duo queue became worse pretty quickly.
So from my perspective smite is a lot more toxic.
Which could probably be easily fixed. I don't know if this has changed in smite, however does reporting people feels valuable in smite already? Because I can still remember all the people that feel that smite's reporting system does nothing.
Ofc, it's all mainly to how you handle toxicity, really. If a player gives you ****, just give a slight ponder on whether you deserve that. If (and most of the time) you don't, just move on.
😞
Serious now, most players of my country hate to be matched with "jajajas", lol.
Or some other green-yellow-and-blue flag.
Though to be fair, there are other flags with red-white-and-green.
I guess flags don't really translate to one line of text, except when they're just stripes.
