Also, just saying, Medusa's current kit has more CC than this rework.

Wat.

I'm pretty sure both of them have only 1 CC, on the ult.

One of us is blind, because I'm pretty sure it only reduces healing, not root or slow or whatever.

If I'm correct, when she initially grabs someone it stuns them.

I'm tired. Have a rework.

Sobek:

Passive: Blessing of the Nile: Sobek regenerates 3% of his maximum health and mana for every god he hits with an ability.

Q: Charge Prey: Sobek lunges forward, stunning the first enemy hit for 0.5 seconds and flipping them backwards a short distance, dealing 90/150/210/270/330 damage (+40% of your magical power).

Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds.

W: Tail Whip: Sobek knocks back all enemies within 20 feet, dealing 70/110/150/190/230 magic damage (+50% of your magical power).

Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds.

E: Sickening Strike: Sobek's next basic attack cleaves to enemies within 15 feet and deals 70/110/150/190/230 (+25% of your magical power) additional damage. The primary target is slowed by 40/50/60/70/80%, decaying over 2 seconds.

Cooldown: 9 seconds.

R: Lurking in the Waters: Sobek submerges, gaining 20/25/30/35/40% move speed and 15/20/25/30/35% damage reduction. At least two seconds later, Sobek can reemerge from the waters, dealing 150/175/200/225/250 damage (+75% of your magical power), knocking up all enemies within 20 feet and stunning them for 0.5 seconds. Sobek can be submerged for 4/6/8/10/12 seconds.

Cooldown: 140/130/120/110/100 seconds.

Sobek is an aggressive lane bully who focuses on winning trades at the exclusion of all else.

His passive combined with his AoE abilities means that Sobek will be constantly healed and keep his mana up in a skirmish. Your CC-heavy abilities are incredibly vicious when chained together, and provide plenty of disruption to create space for your carry to deal damage and initiation to start fights on your terms. To add to that, Sobek's massive mobility from his ultimate and his Q combined make it so that very few are truly safe from his engagements.

However, Sobek's reliance on attacking gods for sustain combined with his lack of ranged options means that he is incredibly, incredibly vulnerable to being outranged and poked. Furthermore, his cooldowns are high across the board, and so missing or wasting an ability can result in heavy punishment, and enemies that can handle your **** will eventually have the advantage through attrition.

Knowing when to strike and when to not is the key to playing Sobek.

Nah, I love my little sobecky just as he as (that sounds weird).

You should rework Medusa, as she is a recent victim of the hirez nerf hammer. She's on the way to becoming the next Nox

Another rework. Maybe I should make this a daily thing.

Medusa: ADC.

Frankly, Medusa is stupid not only from a balance and counterplay standpoint, but how utterly uncreative and bland her kit is. It is painfully obvious that they just slapped on her statue mechanic, for example.

Passive: Venom: Medusa's basic attacks and basic abilities apply Venom to enemies hit, dealing 5 + 1 per level damage (+6% of your physical power) and 1.5% of the enemy's missing health every second as magic damage for five seconds.

Q: Volley: Medusa's next basic attack takes twice as much time to fire but fires seven arrows in a 45-degree cone, dealing 10/15/20/25/30 + your basic attack damage. Enemies take 25% damage for every arrow that hits them beyond the first. (The cone is also wide enough so it's impossible to get hit by more than three arrows.) Cooldown: 16/13/10/7/4 seconds. (Bread and butter skill, which is a mishmash of various ideas.)

W: Sidewinder: Medusa passively gains 12/14/16/18/20% move speed while strafing. Activating this ability causes Medusa to slither forward, becoming immune to CC while dashing. Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds. (Medusa's escape, which deals zero damage and doesn't reduce healing but can be extremely powerful against anticipated CC. It's slightly shorter than Cupid's dash and is about as fast.)

E: Acid Spray: Medusa spits out a ball of acid 45 feet (shorter than autoattack range) that detonates on the first enemy or structure hit or upon reaching maximum distance, creating a pool of acidic fog in a 15-foot radius circle that deals 20/35/50/65/80 magic damage (+20% of your physical power) per second for four seconds. Enemies in the fog have their healing and shielding reduced by 50% for 1.5 seconds. (Poke, zoning, waveclear, and utility. Otherwise fairly bland.)

R: Petrify: Medusa turns nearby enemies (in a 45 foot, 90-degree cone) to stone, stunning them for 1.5 seconds if they are facing her, slowing them by 50% for 3 seconds if they are not. Deals 100/150/200/250/300 damage (+60% of your physical power) physical damage. Cooldown: 120/115/110/105/100 seconds.

Medusa is an untraditional ADC, who lacks the massive damage (in both abilities and basic attacks) of most hunters, for CC, utility, and safety.

In-lane, Medusa has great trading and poking potential with her passive, which lets her both harass enemies with only a single basic attack, or kill weakened enemies with ease. Her Q is used to burst down enemies who get too close, or used in conjunction with her dash to assassinate enemies. Your E is used for waveclear and poking, although its lack of range and lack of CC makes it easy to just walk away from. However, while the dash does grant safe laning, it's high cooldown makes it risky to use early.

In teamfights, Medusa's short cooldown dash, slow, and Volley make her extremely slippery in teamfights, as she spams her Q to deal area damage with her basic attacks. Her ultimate can save her life or be used to control the battlefield, and she can shut down escape routes or counter healers with Acid Spray and her passive. And regardless of her focus on non-damage, she's still an ADC and can still hurt people with a full crit build.
