Janus: Mage Support.

Passive: Protector of the Gates: Janus gains 100% move speed for 5 seconds upon touching the home fountain.

Q: Portal: Janus creates a portal a nearby wall, and entering it will move you forward, but has a travel time that is slightly faster for allies. The portal is only one-way but can be entered multiple times by allies AND enemies, and lasts five seconds.
Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds.

(A rip-off of Bard's magical journey. No more "free escapes," creating counterplay, but also adding additional utility by letting allies use it multiple times. And that stupid "undodgable knockup" needed to die.)

W: Spatial Flux: Janus throws an orb of pure chaos forward 45 feet, dealing 60/100/140/180/220 damage (+40% of your magical power), piercing all enemies hit and slowing them by 25% for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds, speeding up allies for the same amount.
Cooldown: 7 seconds.
(It's a poke that can go through minions and slows, and also lasts a long time, and can be used in multiple ways.)

E: Threshold: Janus creates a 20-foot circle of energy on the ground after a short delay. Allies within the circle take 75% damage from attacks outside the circle. Enemies that cross the line are rooted and crippled for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds and take 90/145/200/255/310 damage (+75 of your magical power). An enemy cannot be slowed more than once. The circle lasts for four seconds.
Cooldown: 18 seconds.

(This one skill has a huge amount of utility. It can be used to trap, protect, zone, harass, waveclear, and even protect against pushers. The downside is the high cooldown and how enemies with jumps can go over it, and if you put enemies in it, keep in mind that it doesn't give any damage reduction nor root them if they don't move, even if they're on the line of the circle.)

R: Through Space: Janus fires a blast that passes through the map, creating gaps where it crosses a wall, stopping once it passes through 4/5/6/7/8 walls or upon the first enemy god hit (ignoring minions and monsters), who takes 100/140/180/220/260 damage (+50% of your magical power) and is stunned for 1.5 seconds. The projectile leaves a path behind it that boosts allies' move speed by 20/25/30/35/40%. Lasts for 7 seconds.
Cooldown: 140/135/130/125/120 seconds.

(This is his old ult only it isn't purely global, doesn't have instant teleportation, or do massive damage. At the same time, you can freely move back and forth, and it has a useful 1.5 second stun if you manage to hit a target.)

Janus is a dangerous support with the incredibly amount of utility he gives to his team. His laning is about trapping enemies before harassing them, making it a mixture of trading and poke, as all of his abilities can go through minions, despite their short range. In teamfights, his ability to move his team around the map gives unparalleled mobility and his buffs and slows make him useful in a scrap, as well.

His weaknesses are how his enemies can counter most of his abilities; they can travel through his own portal, dodge the relatively slow Spatial Flux, and can take nothing from Threshold if they don't move. He also lacks hard CC except for his ultimate, which comes with its own problems and its massive cooldown.

To play Janus, you need to know where to be, a good eye for aiming, and a good head on your shoulders.

Smite needs A support mage. Like, Aphrodite doesn't even count anymore.
For Glory! An Ullr ADC Guide
A Strong Bond! An Aphrodite Solo Guide
