He's the god of music and the sun. He looks like that for a reason. Like the flamelike hair.

In Mythology, maybe, but in the game he's defined as the God of Music, and Ra is the Sun God.

I knew about gods since before SMITE's existence. He was clearly specified as his major role being the sun god, travelling in his chariot across the sky to bring light to all the world. Sorry for the 'mistake' but none of us are really wrong.

Most people consider Helios and Apollo the same god. Some writings make distinctions as the god of the sun and god of light (not music, Apollo is most identified with as light), but most contemporary historians consider the historic texts to majority-agree on Apollo and Helios as two aspects of one person. They're two names for the same god.

Either way, you're getting into semantics that aren't necessary. I don't even know why this conversation is on this thread. It's getting off topic.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
