Hi there everybody, just curious as to who your favorite gods and most hated gods are so I can get some inspiration to try new ones out, which ones you think need nerfed or buffed, etc.

My top three favorite gods have to be Ne Zha,Vamana, and Geb.

Ne Zha because he has a more balanced kit than most gods. His ult can be used to close gaps, but it's his only escape as well so you have to be picky. His one probably needs a slight nerf in its bounce range, but I really love him for his 3. The close and the gank potential are just awesome even if it's sometimes tricky to land.

I like Vamana because he's a cute little guy. That's... about it to be honest lol.

I like Geb because he is the perfect tank in my eyes. He can give himself a shield or knock opponents up to set up a team fight and he has a good escape. I just like him overall.

Now, as for my most hated gods, I would have to say Bastet, Hebo, and Khumbakarna(?)

I don't like Bastet because of her cats and her whip attack. The cats are just annoying to me and the whip is as well. Just an overall annoying god to me.

Hebo I don't like simply because of his pillar of water attack. It happens too fast to give you a reasonable chance to respond and has slightly too much range for my taste. His other skills are awesome and he would, in my eyes, have a balanced kit if the pillar got a range nerf and a time delay of even one quarter of a second more. Heck, I think his water scroll should provide hard cc immunity though, because it's just too easy to snag him with another god when he tries to get away.

And last, but not least, the sleeping giant. I absolutely loathe him for one reason and one reason only. His 3. A 3.5 second hard cc that keeps your god standing there like an idiot? That's just far too powerful. Being helpless for 3.5 seconds, no matter what the team composition on both sides are, pretty much guarantees that at least one or maybe two of the gods on your team are going to die before the team *fight* actually begins.

Don't get me wrong, I think his 3 would go well with his kit under two circumstances. The first is either nerf the duration down to a maximum of 2s so that the other team has a chance to do something besides drool on themselves. Or two, make it his ult. Buff the damage so that it isn't an underpowered ult, but with a cd as low as his 3 has it just... It's ridiculous.

Well, that's my honest opinion on six gods, love and hate, so what are your favorite gods and most hated gods? Please explain why so I get the urge to try them out! :D

Favorite Gods: Ymir, Wukong, Hercules, and after playing him a bit, Osiris.

What I like most about these gods is their versatility, how they can do multiple roles and still be effective.

Ymir is just brutal, able to dish out large amounts of damage and take large amounts of damage at the same time. He is one of the best initiators, and is arguably one of the better Guardian chasers due to his wall.

Wukong and Herc are kings of 1v1 fights, and can both take punishment that would kill an Assassin or Mage while dealing almost as much damage as those two roles. Wukong is also one of the better chasers/escapers just due to his ult and his 3.

Hated Gods: Freya, Neith, Vamana.

Freya is just ********. She does insane damage with her 2 alone, can buff said damage, her 2 also slows and has a huge hitbox, and if she builds attack speed she can just decimate nearly everyone 1v1.

Also her ult is a bit ********.

Neith I don't find particularly threatening, just annoying due to her CC.
Her 1, which roots, has a fairly large hitbox and goes through minions, her 2 is an AoE debuff that heals her, her 3 covers a large distance and slows those hit by it, adding salt to the wound.

Vamana I hate due to the fact that I could never learn him and good Vamana players are such a nuisance to deal with (though it is fun fighting a skilled Vamana player, very hectic.)

Favorite gods: Ah Muzen Cab, Loki, Freya

Generally, I like playing gods that focus more on autoattacks rather than casting. Thus, I tend to play with gods that focus on me holding down the mouse button and making sure the enemy is not out of my aim.

Ah Muzen Cab, incidentally, is a caster kind of carry whenever I play him. He chews through tremendous amounts of mana because of honey spamming. Despite this flaw, his waveclear is extraordinary, and his hive-buffed attacks and movement make him a dangerous god.

Loki, again, also focuses on abilities to attack. However, his casting is mostly focused on closing gaps more than anything save for decoy. When he does manage to close in on a player, and I've got the right items built on him, I can almost always secure that kill.

Freya is among the few mages I can play effectively with. Most mages focus primarily on using abilities to be good and once the abilities are on cooldown, you better hope no one's nearby to exploit your weakness. Sure there's Chronos and Nu Wa, but I could never get comfortable with them. With Freya, I can mostly focus on autoattacks with 2 steroids all the while possess an ability to banish people if they get too close.

Hated gods: Ao Kuang, Bastet, Tyr

The reason I listed the first two gods is mostly because I want to enjoy playing them, however their extreme power makes me fear that they're soon to be nerfed to uselessness and I don't want to get attached to them when it happens.

Ao Kuang. Tornadoes, need I say more. When I play a squishy god like the three favorites I listed above, a well-built Ao Kuang could very easily bring me down to near half health or less. If he really wants to ruin my day, he can just build gem of isolation, use squall and tornadoes, THEN add salt to the wound by ulting me. What am I gonna do, I'll be slowed to oblivion. Ao, as in "OW, GODDAMMIT!"

Bastet is pretty much a manifestation of guerilla warfare in the form of ambush and hit-and-run. Jump in, deal a buttload of damage, then jump out safely. When I play her, I tend to have a lot of fun because she suits my generally skittish playstyle, but its a whole different story when I play against her. If she catches me as Ah Muzen Cab and I'm out of my hive radius (or she destroys it), I'm normally screwed if she calls her cats. I can generally ignore her as Freya thanks to Banish keeping her from pouncing away (thus destroying her), but she's still a massive pain if she catches me while its cooling down. Loki? Its hard to ult someone when you're invisible, and I can wait for her to pounce away before I ult, but she tends to retreat back to allies.

Tyr? He is the worst! No matter who or what I play, he appears to be the bane in my existance. He is the most annoying whenever I play Bastet, because he's usually waiting for me to return before locking me down with his 1 and 2. Doesn't have to be me as Bastet, if Tyr has blink, you'll be certain he'll peel you away even if you're hiding under a tower. His blink is still cooling down? Good thing he still has that damn ult always ready to use as a backup!

I don't have specifically the time to list right now, but I'll do a quick summary
Note that favorite and hate depends on if I'm them or they're them...it's kinda a gray (grey) area

Favorite:
Neith (Strong all around, hard to do bad)
Ra (Fits in roughly 105% of team comps, hard to do bad)
Scylla (I did that guidey thing and found her fun practicing for it)
Zeus (Teamfight OP)

Hate:
Bastet (If your team feeds/gets her ahead, she's near impossible to deal with early game)
Cupid (Eventually gets towards full item, GG)
Nemesis (Nothing will save you.)

My favorites tend to change around depending on what I'm in the mood to play, but right now, and probably generally, I think these are some of my favorites:

Favorites: Isis, Apollo, Ah Muzen Cab, Guan Yu.

Isis is a ton of fun to play. She has great mobility/wave clear, and that stun is deadly. A well timed silence is also a great savior, and a nice way to activate Poly on her. I think I can safely say she's my number 1 favorite.

Apollo is still my most played god, and I haven't actively played him in months. His mobility is awesome, and his passive makes for some massive damage when building crit.

Ah Muzen Cab, I've only played in Assault, though it's been a decent amount of matches, and I almost always do great with him to the point where I have over a 3.0 k/d ratio. Unless I get super focused on my own for whatever reason, I have great survivability when playing him.

Guan Yu: He was the first god I wanted to play as soon as I bought the God Pack. I just find him a lot of fun, and his horse is bad ***.

Hated: Ao Kuang, Zeus, Arachne, Bastet, Poseidon. (I hate playing against these ones, but I love playing some of them, like Arachne).

Ao Kuang: Those tornadoes, massive slow, and instant ult are a pain in the ***. Yeah, it's easy to dodge his ult from a distance, but head on, with it being that instant, it can suck.

Zeus: So much ****in' damage. So happy with this upcoming nerf.

Arachne: It's mostly just her ult when in team fights, like Assault. An Arachne with good aim is a nightmare.

Bastet: I loved playing Bastet before her remodel/skill tweaks, and back then, I really wanted her jump back to have no delay. Well, now that she has it and going up against it many times, I regretting that wish.

Poseidon: His ******** whirlpool suuuuucks.

My favourite gods, overall, would be Chang'e, Nu Wa, Isis and Ao Kuang with honorable mentions going to Agni, Hel and Kali.

Chang'e is, despite all the nerfing she's got over time, still my favourite god. Way too fun to play, especially in the Arena, she's been and most likely always be my favourite god out there.

I like Nu Wa's mobility and overall kit, minus the minions, a lot. She's my main god for 3v3 and she's great for the job and very safe to play.

Isis for plenty of reasons:
    Late game instabig combo :
Spirit Ball -> Polynomicon.
Anti peeling potential (silencing dashing Athena/ Blinkymir/ Batz).
Great CC

Hoping for a new ultimate.

Ao Kuang because Ao Kuang. Late game instagib squall + Polynomicon feels good as well as that truck of an ultimate (insert taken down bowling pins sound here). He's just good in every game mode and pretty much any team comp.

Least favourite gods... Not too difficult to think of a top 3 here: Thanatos, Freaking SPIDER and Thanatos again.

Thanatos is just way too cheap. Press 1 to get your opponent's hp lower than 1/2 while filling yours, press 1 to be IMMUNE TO SLOWS because why would you need Sprint after all, why wouldn't an already huge damage assassin have a silence and of course, give him huge speed buff during his barely avoidable ultimate. AND he's labeled VERY HARD (to play), like yeah, he definitely is....

The Spider's ult is my main issue with IT. Its ultimate is relatively easy to hit, has a huge range and can go through walls. Forcing me to rush Magi's usually ruins my early game damage and its ultimate's cooldown is way too low for how powerful it is.

Favourite God: Ymir

Why?
I just love Ymir, he is so versatile, and awesome. Damage Ymir rocks, he does crazy insane damage, support Ymir is cool, (get the pun?) he has all of the CC in the world and a bunch of health, and in general Ymir is awesome.

Other Cool Gods:
Ao Kuang (he is just crazy damage death kill machine)
Odin (Because carrying your team in arena 20-2 as Odin never gets old)
Poseidon (Release The Kraken!!!!!)

Gods I hate:
Agni (Don't ask, just don't like him)
Sobek (I hate it when he throws someone over his back, so many missed ults)
Zeus (He's only good in arena)
You can check out my cool Ymir guide by clicking here
Thanks Lprats for making an awesome Ymir drawing :)

Hel. She has such a full kit, an aoe damage-heal-cleanse-slow, range splash damage for finishing and a range projectice that heals you for emergency situations. The gameplay is so fluid, just great.

Aphrodite, she used to be very underrated until she saw some play in launch tournament. She's great in solo lane and as a support, and has one of the best ultimates if used right. She was my first main and I still love playing her.

Isis. Her stun+poly+wing gust combo deals so much damage and she has a very teamfight oriented ultimate that saves lives. Plus, VER.

Bastet, She is probably the safest to gank with and has a very very strong early game. Plus she can 1v1 most gods with her cats and a timely used pounce.

Honorable mention: Anubis, I lately enjoy him alot, he was probably the most hated god in my list tied with he bo, but damn so fun if played right!

Hated: Ao Kuang, Thana, Freya, Hercules. All annoying to deal with.
