I think a better option would be to modify the contributions from health to magical power, or maybe both. As it is, it gets way too much benefit from stacking health items.

It definitely needs at least some scaling back on the protection it gives. It's pretty crazy, and if he uses it on himself, couple it with his passive, and he's not going to be going down much.

Magical scaling on the shield is a fine balance as well, I personally don't like it because I don't like how anyone who doesn't play tanks a whole lot but gets forced into or decides to go tank for match says "**** it, magical bruiser, lol" I don't like how a character was built for a very specific and team oriented role could be degraded like that (aloooooota bias in this opinion due to myself mainly only playing tanks , forgive me if this is a stupid opinion) I like the health scaling because myself as a dedicated tank player is being rewarded for playing my role, people will be happier to see me building as a tank because health scaling will benefit them as well in the end instead of building lots of magical power in order to achieve a worthwhile shield for my team, also a magical scaling shield might reward mage Geb players too much and the shield might end up removing any balance as far as "its mage Geb, we can kill that" ,nope shield, get poli-nomi-pucnhed n00b. Not saying your idea for magical scaling is wrong, but thats how I feel about it, I am open to the possibility though.

Most tank builds are protection-based, not health stacking though. Maybe it would make more sense for it to scale based on Geb's protections, because not only does that simply make more sense (his protections transferred to the teammates through encasing them in his own rocks), but it also encourages people to do something besides stack tons of health.

hide of the urchin is literally the only physical defense item Geb needs. Then he can just get Bulwark of Hope/Idol of Concentration, and stack pure health from then onward. His passive is pretty much automatic protection against physicals, and his shield will help him survive any insane bursts from mages.

Geb doesn't need to get Hide of the Nemean Lion, and he doesn't have to worry about The Executioner, either. Basically, I'm saying he has all his bases covered.

ah, I see, that in its own right is a problem maybe, however a harder to kill tank doesn't really bother me, but a shield being too effective on allies too early imo is a serious problem.
