Geb looks interesting. Looking forward to trying him out. His passive seems intense.

Not much in terms of balance in this patch. Still waiting for Chaac to get nerfed in the few places he needs it.

So, given Geb's release, it's not as disappointing as the last patch, but I'm definitely still wanting to see more balancing.

Golden Hel and Ah Muzen Cab is definitely nice, though.

His passive means RIP assassins and carries that build malice and deathbringer
they still HAVE to uild it - otherwise their damage output sucks. It's just going to permanently suck against him.

Luckily, mages will do fine against him. However, stacking health is a very strong tactic for him, and Ethereal Staff, Bulwark of Hope, maybe a Hide of the Leviathan, will ruin the mages damage with health and protection, since most mages are burst-oriented and not sustain-oriented, and won't get through ALL his health.

However, you know what counters Geb?
Qin's Sais.
RIP.

No I find him absolutely devastating. He's got the most CC of any tank in the game right now (at two knockups and a stun), while being almost immune to most damage dealers in the game, and being able to reliably stack health. Additionally, he's the first tank to get a solid way to avoid damage past a small gimmick (like Athena's Passive) with that bubble, so he's immediately got a one-up on the competition.

Now, in the end, he's a tank, and he can't 1v5 a team, but he's broken *compared to other tanks*, so while he may not be winning a game single handedly, he certainly won't be losing it for his team if they end up losing.

The 1 thing I noticed from the stream is that the knock up on roll out is very unreliable but it is massive!

Also erez explains how itemization will work in the future. Sounds like they will have a system similar to lol.

Yeh and u can build the base item again and build to tier 3 again but cant be the same tier 3 item u already have.
My explanation is terrebad erez explains it a bit better u can find it at ariund the 3 hr 15 min mark of the stream

Honestly, I'm sick of how HiRez balances gods by giving them odd changes that aren't effective, before dropping them like a hot potato and ignoring them for ages. Of course, unless a Reddit post have over 300 upvotes.

Video of patch stuff for those of you who didn't see the patch.

Turnip, join me as I die in happiness over the Golden Hel skin!

I am not fond of the changes to Arachne and Artemis. I don't see how removing the ward effect on Transgressor's Fate and Broodlings is necessary. These are nerfs to low-tier Gods. Ridiculous.

Ares didn't need a basic hit progression on his attacks. He needed a reason to use his sword, period. This wasn't it.

Geb looks pretty good. Not entirely sure about his passive, though. I don't suspect that his damage will be too great, especially since his Ult is set so that it will never kill anyone. He will be better off if piss tons of health is built on him. Hurray for Ethereal staff.

New Arena looks good. I hope they add some flare to the older Arena map now.

Overall, an okay patch. I really want to see balances that aren't complete ****, though.

You bet I'm happy about Hel finally getting her golden skin. :D and I like how her unique is legendary.

Also, I made a Reddit post regarding the new arena that never saw the light of day - there are four new objects in the map similar to the four pillars forming the center of the arena. I don't remember hearing them mentioned nor could I see them on the minimap, but that's actually a pretty significant change that I look forward to testing out.

Geb is broken, I can already tell.

First of all, unless his damage is hard to land, they have way too high of base power for a tank. Even if he does build full tank, nothing is protecting you from 50% of your current health and a stun. If he initiates with this ability, then god save the team that's on the receiving end, fighting the enemy with half this health. Also, his major utility abilities all do a helluvalot of damage.

Also, the thing is, even if he does decide to build bruiser with those low scalings, he can pull it off with so much innate tankiness. And if he does build full tank, he'll be an absolute unkillable monster. You don't need to see how this is going to play out in game. You can tell that he is way too strong, probably to the point that he's broken, just from the numbers.

The power creep is strong with this one.

Damage is not about killing someone. If a non-lethal ultimate that does 99% of the enemies max health is compared to a 300 damage nuke that can kill, then does the 300 damage nuke do more damage because it can kill? No other tank in this game has the potential to deal 2000 damage with one ability against a tank AS a tank himself, with a stun added on top of it. And if the main combo is what I think it is on him, then he could potentially kill a squishy with a combo of Blink>Earthbreaker>Shock Wave>And then chase with Wrecking Ball (inb4 Miley Cyrus jokes) as the squishy tries to escape.

Also, can I say, my favourite change of the patch is in fact Chaac's axes. They were the most ******** thing in terms of hitboxes, so it's good to see that it is actually fixed.
