This is to all the "pro" players I meet that insist on telling me Vamana is a bad god.

Perhaps because your oponents were not that skilled, and so your allies? Judging from the scores, you probably played with people that less are skilled than you.


But you're kinda correct. Vamana is more of a situational god, as an example, Vamana is a good pick against a Full-Phys enemy team, which is quite rare, but might happen.

Just because you stomped some guys, doesn't mean Vamana is viable. As an example, I decided to Solo Sobek today, with some of my friends. I did extremely well, 17-4-20 building a mix of damage and defenses, and still tanking like a boss. That does not mean Sobek is a viable Solo. He might be a good counter-pick, if played well, against Solo Healers, like Guan Yu and Hercules.

Not gonna lie, they did have less masteries than us, and it was an unranked match. I was also in a party with my friend.

In my defense, however, they were in a party too, and everyone WAS level 30.

I'm not trying to brag, but I just feel frustrated when I see people throwing away gods like Vamana. it's discouraging. All throughout my leveling process, people told me that Vamana (and Bastet) were complete trash and to never play them. But I think it's going too far to say a god is complete trash. Clearly some gods have advantages over one another, but I guess I'm trying to prove that you shouldn't listen to their tier lists and the "tourney pros", and just play what you enjoy.

(And trust me, Vamana is way fun to play when you have his 600 gem skin.)

I believe Heavenly Agility counters Weakening Curse... Like it over rides it.

Warriors are not easy to get kills with unless one has right build and expert execution. With vamana its the same, i always build him around physical protection and movement speed, u wonder how many times he can get kills with skills 1 and 2 combo by chasing down enemies. After much rigour i found out that he's brutal with his ulti if u build on Fatalis or Hastened Fatalis and a crit item. He is not easy to master ofcourse.
