This is just something I've been wondering as I've heard mention (and there was a bit of a discussion about this on the SMITE Reddit) that Arachne can be a fairly good support, but I've yet to see an Arachne support.

I guess it could work, she has some good CC, but I think there are better options. if you were to, probably build a bit of damage, but mostly health, and use your spiders to secure camps/fury as well as invading.

People tried it in premade, I don't remember if it worked, don't think so though :P

It would probably work really well if you just acted like noobs the early game. Let them push and just ult them into the tower for free kills. If you are pushing though it probably won't work too well, as your ult won't really secure many kills. I feel like the spiders would be pretty awesome to invade, help clear, or just poke at the enemy adc. I am gonna go try it. I'll be back with a better answer. :P

I'm sure it's possible in some way, but it's probably not very practical.

Actually think we have done it like 5 times or something in premades and won every game :p

But NEVER do it unless your team just wants to have a fun time (preferably just do it in premades) ;)

Although we have won all the games we have gone Ara support it is NOT because we went Ara support that we won. It is ****, like super ****. A lot of ****ing fun though, specially if you are good with the hook :P

It is better than Ara ADC, but that is pretty much all it beats :P

Actually, I like Ara support better than Ne Zha support. But well, Ne Zha suport is super poop :P

On paper, it looks good: her 1 has a constantly applying slow, her 2 silences/heals, her 3 is an AoE walk-through slow, and her ult is self-explanatory, as well as being able to deal decent earlygame damage. But in application, it's hard to hit her 4, her 2 puts her out of position, her 3 just isn't enough, and the utter lack of stuns has her basically outclassed by Sobek.
