Let's Make Patch Notes

Didn't want to put this in the main thread, because they're focusing on certain roles and I'm doing every god, but here they are:

Agni: No longer CC immune on his dash

Justification: Agni being CC immune on his dash is pretty OP, because his dash is already almost instant. Having his dash be vulnerable to stuns, taunts, mesmerizes, etc. would make for excellent skill play.

Ah Muzen Cab: No change

Justification: I feel like Ah Muzen Cab is in a good place balance wise. He is strong, but not necessarily Overpowered.

Anhur: Reduce slow from 15/20/25/30/35% to 10/15/20/25/30% It's a bit much late game when every god has some form of soft CC from items, passives, etc.

Justification: I know a lot of people feel Anhur is too survivable for an ADC. I feel like weakening his combo a little might help. he might need a bit more of a nerf, but I feel this is a good start.

Anubis: His 1 is now a dash. his 3 now slows by 30% instead of 25%. The dash will do 65/115/155/195/215 (+ 70% Magical Power)

Justification: Anubis is simply not mobile enough to be competitive. This change will bring much needed mobility to his kit, while also giving him the escape he needs to be viable in mid.

Ao Kuang: Increase Tornadoes cooldown from 15/14/13/12/11 to 17/16/15/14/13 seconds to better counters its high power.

Justification: Tornadoes is arguably one of the strongest DoT skills in the game. It is pretty easy to hit, and does quite a bit of damage. By increasing its cool down by 2 seconds at all levels, I hope to make the skill slightly more situational.

Ahprodite: All allies within her birds of paradise are now healed as they pass those Gods.

Justification: Aphrodite is just not a competitive healer because she focus heals only one God at a time. Only Cupid ranks lower than her in the healer category, and he is also an ADC. This change should make Aphro a little more viable for team healing, without reducing her ability to boost a single God.

Apollo: No Change

Justification: Apollo is in a pretty good place In my Honest opinion. He does a great job as an ADC without being broken or overly overpowered.

Arachne: Broodlings now have a 20% contribution of power, from 17%. Drain Life now cripples, but does not silence. Her ultimate cooldown is increased to 45 seconds, but contributes 75% power to it instead of 50.

Justification: Arachne is often complained about because she is Overpowered early game, but underpowered late game. I fix this by giving her broodlings more power contribution, and removing the silence from her Drain Life, allowing early counter play. AoE will now affect her, meaning she has to be more careful against certain junglers.

Ares: Searing Flesh now does 15% of magical power instead of 7%. Its base damage is also increased from 15/20/25/30/35 to 25/30/35/40/45.

Justification: Ares' Searing Flesh has terrible damage, even as a tank. This will allow him to better utilize his passive on Searing Flesh. The base damage increase make Searing Flesh better early game, where it was merely average before, now it might be where it should be.

Artemis: Her boar now stuns for .25 seconds longer.

Justification: The stun on the Calydonian Boar is simply to allow Artemis to trap more easily afterwards, keeping her opponent in place while she finishes them off. It also makes her 'escape' a little more viable.

Athena: Ultimate base damage increased from 750 damage at max level to 825.

Justification: Athena is already a top tier God, but her ultimate is extremely hard to hit except with near constant CC on the enemy, or exceptional play by your allies. This change might be controversial, but I feel it is justified by the difficulty of her ult doing anything more than making melee gods back off.

Bacchus: Chug mana cost reduced from 50/80/110/140/170 mana to 20/60/100/140/180 mana

Justification: Chug is pretty much the mana drain from hell early game. You almost always need to be smashed and spend about 3/4 of your mana getting and staying there, in the first 2 minutes of the game alone. I feel that this will help Bacchus' early game while not overly affecting his late game.

Bakasura: Leap improved with better animation.

Justification: Bakasura's jump animation was just bad.

Bastet: Now summons four cats on her Ultimate.

Justification: Bastet starts strong but imo, falls off late game. This gives her late game strength, while also improving her early game a bit. This change might require a bit of rework, if so please tell me.

Chaac: No longer invulnerable on Ult, now take 35% less damage when his ult is channeling. Chaac's Thunder Strike now now does 60/120/180/240/300 damage and 55% power contribution instead of 60% power contribution.

Justification: Chaac desperately needed the nerf to his ultimate and his "poke" which does a bit too much damage to be considered a mere poke.

Chang'e: No Change

Justification: without a full rework, there is no real way to change Chang'e without making her near useless that I can think of.

Chronos: Stop Time now travels faster.

Justification: Stop Time is very easily dodged, about the same way as Poseidon's 1 is. It just needed a bit of a move speed buff to make it more reliable.

Cupid: Heart Bomb now does 60/100/140/180/220 and half that to enemies in its AoE.

Justification: Heart Bomb does its damage twice. Once on the enemy you hit, and once on him again and all his buddies beside him. with this change, I'm bringing up Cupid's single target damage while nerfing his Group destroying power early. Its pretty much a nerf to Cupid's very strong early wave clear.

Fenrir: No Change

Justification: I feel that Fenrir is a very balanced character.

Freya: Irradiate: Now does 50/70/90/110/130 base damage increase. Pulse now does 30/45/60/75/90 base damage (This One I'm unsure about. might make her early game a bit too strong...)

Justification: They nerfed Freya's magical contribution, and I seek to rectify this by improving her base damage. This keeps her late game from scaling out of control, but buffs her early game damage. An alternate change would be that when her 1 and 2 are activated together, they now still apply the slow and AoE, to counter her lower damage.

Geb: Hard as Rock: Passive now makes crits do 50% extra damage instead of 25%. Roll Out now does 375 base damage at max level instead of 400. Shield reduced from 18% health contribution to 15% health contribution.

Justification: Geb is strong. There is no denying this. he is overpowered. there is no denying this. I don't think he is broken, but I feel that his shield just protects from way too much damage, by further reducing the health contribution. More nerfs or changes may be needed. Does the passive change really need justification?

Gaun Yu: No Change

Justification: with the Taolu Assault change, I feel that Guan Yu is actually in a perfect balance place. Hi is still strong, but not overpowered the way he was the buff/debuff pre patch.

Hades: A cripple is now applied on Pillar of Agony. Hades now gains 40/70/85/100/115 protections on Pillar of Agony.


Justification: Hades needed the cripple on his ultimate badly. It was far too easy to escape, as nearly every God in the game has a dash, jump, or teleport (Thor). Now at least he will require an active to circumvent. As for the added protections, any God that roots themselves to one spot for 4 seconds while the enemy is pounding on them deserves to be better protected than normal.

He Bo: No Change

Justification: I feel that after the patch He Bo has now reached a very balanced. He no longer gets that insane.

Hel: No Change

Justification: I feel that Hel is in a fairly balanced state. As a healer, she will always be viewed as a bit "OP".

Hercules: Mitigate wounds now returns 30/40/50/60/70% of damage taken as health at max level. (this might be too big a nerf, but returning more than you're hit for is plain stupid, and 100% still seems like too much to me)

Justification: Mitigate Wounds is the strongest healing ability in the game. If you activate it on a Mage ult (He Bo for example) you are almost guaranteed full health. The fact that is only self applied doesn't matter. if Chang'e, Hel, or Aphrodite could heal themselves for 1800 damage, people would scream OP.

Hun Batz: No Change

Justification: Hun batz might need a change, but I have no idea how to go about it.

Isis: Funeral Rites stacks no longer reset on death. Funeral Rites now stack up to 15, for a total of 30 HP5 and 30 MP5 at max stacks.

Justification: Funeral Rites is a pretty weak passive. This kind of helps its late game scale. 6 extra health and mana a second late game is pretty much all the sustain a support could every need to offer. 15 kills/assists won't come easily early game.

Kali: No Change

Justification: After the rework, kali is viable in competitive, no matter what some might say. the extra gold, experience, and her heal makes her very strong, not to mention her invulnerability ultimate.

Loki: Behind You: Now does 25% extra damage when behind an enemy instead of 20% (Not sure about this one either...)

Justification: Loki is no longer competitively played simply because he doesn't offer enough to make up for his squishiness. I'm hoping the extra damage from his passive will make him more desireable.

Mercury: Maximum Velocity: Now increases attack speed by 20/25/30/35/40% instead of 20/30/40/50/60%. Sonic Boom now does 100/175/250/325/400 damage (+100% physical power)

Justification: Mercury is the best hyper carry in the game. This is an attempt to bring him a bit morwe in line with other carries. Not sure if it would even be effective.

Ne Zha: Immortal Spirit now gives .005 attack speed, up to 50 stacks, for a total of a .25 attack speed increase. All stacks are lost on death. Flaming Spear now has a 15 second cooldown.

Justification: Ne Zha is an assassin. he doesn't need HP5 for his passive. Attack power or speed would be better. There is already a few attack power passives, so i wanted to add an attack speed on. It will help his early game, and punish him for dying.

Neith: Backflip no longer slows.

Justification: backflip would be a great escape without the slow. It doesn't need the slow. So i took it away.


Nu Wa: Clay Soldiers now do 30 (+5% magical power) damage.

Justifications: Clay Soldiers is pretty much only useful for tower pushing and Snake Form. This gives Clay Soldiers some use against enemies, but doesn't buff her lane push too much early game against competent players.

Odin: No Change

Justification: After the last patch, odin is in a pretty good spot. His ult is no longer a chase scene, and his other skills and passive are good.

Poseidon: Changing Tides is now increased 15% per basic attack. Tidal Surge now moves faster and does 100/150/200/250/300 base damage instead of 100/140/180/220/260 base damage.

Justification: Changing Tides is a stupid passive for Poseidon, but I did the best i could with it by making it charge very quickly. Tidal Surge is a very weak skill shot. It needed a speed buff, and needed a bit more damage. I did my best to give it that. It might need more or less damage with the move speed change.

Ra: Celestial Beam now moves faster.

Justification: Same lines as Tidal Surge, but it does proper damage when it hits.

Sobek: No Change

Justification: Sobek is in a good and unique place as a Support tank.

Sun Wukong: Bird form now travels slightly slower and goes 75% of its previous distance.

Justification: Bird form is as good as neith's escape, except instead of applying a slow you get to go twice as far almost as fast. Now it moves just a bit slower and can't cover such a huge distance.

Thanatos: No Change

Justification: Thanatos has a pretty high skill floor, but the reward for playing him competently more than justifies the high skill shot accuracy and decision making necessary to play him.

Thor: Glitches fixed.

Justification: Glitches are Thor's only problem. If only they could fix them all.

Tyr: Base Attack speed reduced to .9.

Justification: Early game Tyr in the jungle is just a bit too powerful. His damage output is pretty insane for a God described as having "High defense and Sustainibility"

Vamana: Umbrellarang now has a 50% power contribution, from 40%.

Justification: Vamana wasn't really competitively viable, despite his ult healing. I'm just improving his poke to give him a better lane presence.

Vulcan: Earthshaker now moves Slightly faster, to lower its difficulty of hitting a little.

Justification: Earthshaker might be the hardest ult to hit reliably in the game. I'm just giving it a bit more reliability with its speed.


Xbalanque: No Change

Justification: Xbal is fine, honestly. His late game is insane, but he is easily shut down early with even a bit of planning.

Ymir: No Change

Justification: Ymir is extremely balanced, enough said.

Zeus: Detonate Charge: Now does 1,1.75,2.5x damage against enemies. Damage reduced to 50/70/90/110/130 damage from 60/80/100/120/140

Justification: Zeus is one of the hardest magical carries in the game. The sheer damage output from detonate can even bring tanks to their knees. I'm just bringing that down a little so it doesn't do ultimate level damage by itself.
