she is way overpowered in my opinion and needs to be nerfed abit at least

Could you at LEAST elaborate a bit? HOW is she OP, what do you want nerfed, etc. Otherwise, we can't discuss it.

I'm guessing you're new and still don't know how to use actives to counter-play, but Athena is actually a low tier god.

Yeah, I'd like some elaboration on this accusation as well. I have never once thought that Athena is OP and needs a nerf. I've seen some people do well with her, but in general, she's not someone I fear going against.

I think he thinks this way because she can wombo-combo really easily. A decent Athena and a fed Agni can nearly 2v5 if the enemy team gets too close together.

But she seemed fine when i left :\

Low tier? I've heard quite differently.

Maybe the meta has shifted, and I certainly don't play Conquest, but I was under the impression, and fully believe, that Athena is one of the better tanks in the game.

This is what I think of Athena first.

So it may SEEM like I was giving reasons for a nerf. But really, the draw back for her is: You need a "Pro" to actually see the real potential on how she can be the best early and mid game carry. She is built as an aggressive tank, so yes you can easily be out matched if your support is built passive (Like or )

You can either:
-Shut her down early on. She can ruin one of your teammates fight when she has her ult up.
-Or if you have a passive support just stay back. Don't try to be aggressive early on since she wins at that against a passive team. The reason for a passive team is that their good mid and late when their fed. Aggressive is good early and mid.
