Agni buff and rework? at least now pubs will play him...

I like the general improvements.

Beatstick change is interesting, but honestly, I think they made its niche smaller.
Pestilence change was unexpected, but welcome.
Poly nerf was expected sooner or later.
Now every warrior will get Eye. And it's actually useful. Herm.
Thebes is good now? what? I must have read wrong. (at least now I have a 6-item core support build...)
Lament nerf? that was totally necessary...
so, you can no longer HoG the whole wave. That puts a dent in my Nu Wa strategy.

I actually really like the new item tree. Now, the enemy doesn't know what you're getting until you get the tier 3 rank, and you can adapt to the situation instead of having to stick with your purchase. This provides a lot of counterplay.

Honey nerf was expected, it was just too strong.
effective Chronos nerf was not needed, now you just buy Winged Wand and you null his Stop Time.
Geb nerf and another incentive to upgrade it second.
Merc buff, expect popularity to skyrocket again. I predict a nerf later on. Again.
Nemisis nerf, needed.
Ne Zha getting more margin of error, basically letting you use it at +200 ping.
Than nerf is almost unnoticeable. Shouldn't do anything.
Zeus nerf? took long enough...

So. Predicting meta changes:

Agni buff/rework -> increased Agni popularity
incrased Agni popularity -> increased popularity of gods that can counter him (in this example, Sobek)
increased Sobek popularity -> decreased Apollo popularity + increased non- Apolloor- Ah Muzen Cab hunter popularity
decreased Apollo popularity -> lowered tower-pushing potential
lowered tower-pushing potential -> increased popularity of "pusher" gods (for example, Nu Wa
increased popularity of pusher gods + kill-lane duos ( Sobek + Neith/ Anhur/ Xbalanque/ Cupid) -> less rotating
less rotating -> longer laning phase + increased popularity of earlygame-gank-oriented (ex. Loki) gods

I probably went too far, or estimated the popularity increases wrong, or something. But still, my prediction (from Agni popularity to Loki popularity - wow).

Health cap is 5500, but I'm not sure if its possible to reach that. 20+6% of 5500 is 350 damage.

But realistically, by stacking pure health, we get:

Ymir (2690) + Bulwark (450) + Ethereal Staff (+600) + Magi's (350) + Midas Boots (+100) + Midgardian Mail (350) + Pestilence (300) = 4840 health. 4840 x 1.15 = 5566 health.

Wow, nevermind. I guess you can reach the cap.

Remember caps are for items only (not including buffs and base stats etc) ;)

I just have to point out Brawler's Beat Stick, this item might actually be useful now :P

Polynomicon need that nerf for sure, all they need to do now is buff Hydra's Lament (just stupid how they make poly hit for a higher % number when you got more magical power than physical power) :P

No more swagni walk though unless you own the volcanic skin =(

Mercury buff unnecessary IMO, but not game breaking :P

Stupid Ne Zha buff x)

Gauntlet of Thebes is broken as hell! Nerf PLEA omg...

@ BestMinionEver, Hydra's did get buffed.

Basically, base damage x 125% will equal, depending on god, somewhere near a hundred.

With an auto attack based build like Boots, Hydra, Sais, Rage, DB, Executioner, you'll be doing around 150. Without buffs, without potions, without girdle, it's already a 50% buff. And that's not counting if you go for a more damage based, non-AA build.

It is still miles behind Polynomicon though :(

With FG, red buff, 400 pot, 3000 pot, red buff, warrior tabi, DB, fully stacked HS, Transcendence and DG all you do is 366 (as loki lvl 20).
Ofc it is better than all the other versions of the item, but it is still bad compared to the 1k + damage you can get out of poly :P

Eh, you'll probably be getting more out of it though than a mage with poly, since basic attacks on physicals are more important than those on mages. The poly needs to me melded in between spells, while hydra's is just a fun bonus for auto attackers.

Besides, if hydra got buffed any more people would want Loki nerfed into the ground xD

That is so true lol :P

Still only going to pick Hydra's Lament on Loki though ( Ne Zha to when going for a Armillary Sash-->basic--> Wind Fire Wheels build).

Nemesis, Tyr, and Arachne can do well with it too. Each have very good opportunities to weave in a basic.

Wait, wait, wait. "Rank 3 Passive Changed: Enemies hit by your abilities have 40% reduced healing for 8s."

"...eight seconds."

Are...are you serious?
