I lurk on the forums quite a bit and I've noticed, after the amount of balances done to Ah Muzen Cab, nobody talks about him anymore. I suppose this should be a good thing as that means he's no longer broken, but I've seen more average gods get talked about more often than this one. Is he just right, that no other balances will be needed?

Scroll to the bottom if you don't want to read my opinion on him and his abilities.

I've been focusing on him a lot ever since I mastered Loki to 10, and I'm actually finding him to be a hell of a lot more fun. He lacks hard CC and movement abilities that other hunters have, and yet he still manages to be absolutely devastating!

If you focus on maxing his honey after hives, his waveclear can compete if not overcome Ao Kuang's tornados, but the downside is that it lacks god-killing potential unless you can get them after they're stunned. Honey is probably the most useful in arena if you play him defensively, focusing solely on clearing the minion lanes. Of all the times I've played in arena, my team has never lost to too many minions slipping into the portal. I don't play conquest enough to know how viable honey is, in jungle and laning.

His Swarm is alright, I suppose. It does less overall damage compared to Honey and its 11 ticks of damage, but it does give you an extra punch when attacking other gods. I normally use Swarm when minions survive the honey, or to infest the honey if I'm too far from a hive.

And his hives? Probably his best and only line of defense! You can't really get very far in the game if you're not near your hives. Maybe I'm incorrect in this, but I think Ah Muzen Cab is probably among the slowest of hunters even with a maxed pair of boots. And fighting without hives affects him quite terribly, both in terms of movement speed and attack speed. Since he lacks any kind of real movement ability like a dash, getting caught out of your hives' influence almost always spells certain death! And unless you use sprint or Hastened Fatalis, you can forget chasing someone outside of your hives, as most people are smart enough to get out of the honey after you use it.

The Stinger ultimate is great. It stings like hell (no pun intended), causes cripple, infests the target with his Bees! passive, and gives you a 15 second cooldown if you can retrieve it. The only downside to this? It's a narrow skillshot ability with a brief windup time that if your target is listening and paying attention, can very easily dodge your shot and make you miss. 90 second cooldown on your stinger isn't fun at all.

His Bees! passive is probably the only thing I find lacking. Maybe I'm not using it to the best of its abilities, but its damage is negligable and lasts for only 3 seconds. I suppose if you're interrupting someone from recalling, its useful to use. I've also found some uses for it when dealing with Loki and Nu Wa, as infested enemies are revealed for the duration. But beyond that, I think his passive is quite useless. Maybe you guys can help me on this? I was thinking of using frostbound pendant because it causes slow if enemies are hit by abilities which I believe would also proc on his passive.

Overall, I'm very much enjoying Ah Muzen Cab over the other hunters. What do you guys think though? Are there other hunters that can outperform him in terms of god killing potential or waveclear?

This is also a perfect opportunity to also give tips and advice for those who may also be interested in playing Ah Muzen Cab. So please, if you have any helpful ideas you can offer including builds and strategies, feel free to mention them.

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE Bees!
I just wish Hi Rez could add a way for ppl to see what skills etc did what amount of damage in the end game lobby, because that damage is pretty damned insane I'll tell you :P

He is the Agni of the adcs.

He is great when it comes to farming, and just sitting in lane and getting hp5 from the hives. He can rotate pretty fast, if he got a network of hives ready.
The movement speed, hp5 and attack speed from the hives makes him a beast 1v1 (although nothing beats a well preformed Disperse--> Shifting Sands--> Impale--> Desert Fury (spam [VEL]) combo).

I think he is far to underestimated atm, even pre buff I had a great time with him and had no problem beating most adc I got up against (that was about the same skill lvl as me).

The only problem is that he lacks a 100% out, so kind of like Artemis.

He's side by side with Neith for my favorite ADC. It's an odd choice, but here's why.

His natural attack steroid is NASTY. He has a permanent artemis buff if you place hives well. PERMANENT.

His ult is the biggest nuke ever, his swarm is one of the best waveclears on a carry, his honey can be placed at the edge of a hive radius and launch it towards your enemies to still hit them...he's just so versatile.

What he lacks in escapes, he makes up for in pure, unabridged damage. I have had my most successful games in (the cursed) Conquest with him, going at one point I think 27-4 or something along those lines. He's just nasty. I literally rush Sais on him (starting with rank one and death's toll) because his hives give him such nasty attack speed.

If you have a good frontline, you can survive very well with honey and just rot the enemy team. He's very strong...but you also have to be able to hit that stinger, or your damage output is severely lowered.

Ah Muzen Cab is a lot of fun. I love getting him when playing Assault.

In my opinion, while he may lack an escape, he can be absolutely devastating. His Hives are insanely useful on many different levels, more notably making his basic attacks insanely painful. I always love when someone tries to come within my attacking range when I have my hive up. As soon as I start attacking, they back up really quick. His swarm does great damage and is an awesome wave clear. And his honey is definitely useful.

All in all, I just think he's a fun god to play.

So I had never tried him until I read this post. So I decided to go 4 games with him. All of them were literally the first 4 games ever that I built Heartseeker. I am right away sitting on a 4.8 kd and have a 100 percent w/l ratio. Definitely like how he plays and will keep using him.

I don't mean to sound selfish, but I just wrote my first guide on this site and I'd very much like to know what you people think of it.

I love Ah Muzen Cab. I REALLY love him. He's been my favorite ADC since I played him (Sorry Anhur and Xbalanque), especially if you build attack speed with him (I don't know about everyone else, but I love Hastened Fatalis on him, #flamesheildup) because his basic attack is so disgusting. Pair that with a Heartseeker, Titan's Bane, and one or two cooldown items, you got yourself a pretty good late game attack damage carry right there.

I love amc too. He's my favourite adc and possibly favourite god at the moment (excuse the european spelling), with a lot of dps and the ability to make enemies live in fear. And with a hive up and hastened fatalis, nothing other than death stops the rape train of BEES!
