Thank god those stupid ****ing cats got a nerf, those things were a guaranteed kill against basically anybody.

I'm kinda disappointed that Ravana only has one head though, although he looks super pimp beyond that. Kinda frightened for what his voice will sound like...

So they tweeted out the latest changes coming to PTS earlier - http://forums.smitegame.com/showthread.php?78419-Combo-Breaker-PTS-Patch-Notes-Thread

Key Points:

- Wards no longer able to be hit during 1s they are revealed.
- Elder Harpy XP Value decreased to 110 from 140.
- Small Harpy XP Value increased from 22 to 30.

- Hastened Fatalis passive reduced back to 1s

_ Fixed issue with Detonate Charge incorrectly Disarming targets at rank 5.

- Ravana Changes
    Corrected the attack progression to properly follow the .5/.75/1 timing and damage.

Chain of Blows
    Now adds the intended 7.5% damage to Prana Onslaught instead of 10%.
    Tooltip updated to indicate Chain of Blows does not stack on towers.

Prana Onslaught
    The targeter has been removed; this makes Prana Onslaught an instant cast ability.
    Fixed an issue where missing with this ability would cause Ravana to lose a stack of Chain of Blows.

10-Hand Shadow Fist
    Tooltip updated to show the proper healing amounts.
    Root duration dropped to .8s from 1s.
    Fixed an issue where allies could block this ability at the center of the skillshot.

Mystic Rush
    Ravana can now use this ability while crippled.
    Fixed a scaling issue on the tooltip.


So the Balancing Team has apparently decided all that feedback about Ravana being weak means he should get nerfed.

What a ****ing joke.

IMO, I hate the cat nerf.

I have a lot of friends who agreed with the cat nerf. Got them into a game that they played Bastet and I would play any squishy mage, with a Glass-Canon build.

They saw how squishy the cats are already, and they were like " Dude, that nerf is gonna **** Bastet up so much... wtf !

But yet again, not surprised the Hi-Rez development team did this. A bunch of ppl with bollocks on their minds, I tell you !

This is exciting, most nerfes and buffs are a step in the right direction, still gonna buy Hog3 on guardian, stealing gonna be a much harder tho, should be in late game around the 5-10% area.

Heartseeker nerf, is really good, destroys the early damage adcs could deal out(they still will hurt far to much), Loki doesnt care about it ´tho, Transendence with Jotuns was better on him anyway.

Ward nerf also a good step, i mostly didnt place more than 2 on my own until late anyway, still 10 wards in late game, are enough anyway.

the cat nerf is actually done (as they mention) because of the HoG nerf. Still even if that the reasoning the cats should have been nerfed a lot sooner mostly for early game.

Bastet cat nerfs is not important, it was a early game tool, that transition very good into mid game, in late game it is in most situation useless, maybe good for objectiv push.

After HoG just hit one target (until HoG 2), you can´t damage all cats, so you have to use abilities, they mostly won´t do enough damage to oneshot them. So you have use your own ultimate in order to protect yourself, but just some gods have ultimates that can oneshot the cats in early to mid game. (Poseidon/KKK for example).

So i really wouldnt call it a nerf, you even have free duo lane gank, since Supports sometimes won´t buy HoG anymore and if they do they start with HoG1. Plus Hunter and a Guardian mostly won´t do enough damage to kill the cats anyway.

Uh
Supports have to buy HOG2 now if they want to secure the first set of mid camps. It's not actually an option. All supports need HOG at the beginning of the game. Also, hunters do way more than enough damage to the cats. It's easy to clean them up as long as you have even a tiny amount of lifesteal. I don't think you're understanding the true repercussions of this patch; Bastet's cats getting nerfed is far from important compared to mid camps spawning at 0:10 again.

They gonna delet this 0:10 spawn anyway sooner or later. It was stupid to begin with to bring that back, if they want to compensate the gf nerf, there should be a better way, this bring back the unfair advantage for the team that starts at the better side, where you can be faster on buff/lane.

which side is better then Because I think people won't start out at the buffcamps unless they can clear and be at mid furies before 10
