You realize snowballing happens in every moba right? IF you die 2-3 times early you should play safe and not try to make up for it - it will only get you killed even more (lots of people dont understand this and just tries to get kills to make up for their deaths but only end up going 0-7 in 15mins)

Its ridiculous how many lvl 30 players who doesnt understand this

All4 we're obviously not talking about the entire game, and yes it is IMPOSSIBLE to comeback , in the laning phase, which is clearly what's being talked about here. When someone snowballs, you cannot catch up until the late game, by which point they've asserted their dominance in most cases.

You can't come back as a person, in a lane, against a snowballer. You can win the game, but if you were to have stayed in lane, you'd have lost every trade and fight, hence, they 'snowballed' against you.

And DC is a completely different story, but it was interesting nonetheless.

It varies. If you're a solo laner a good start may not be needed, as it is less relevant early, aso long as you don;t die too much. However in the mid lane, you die early and you are screwed.

Snowballing is not always a problem, I believe that I have mentioned this. It really depends on the God and player skill.

However, I do think that Smite should have shut-downs, similar to League. Thy could call them "descencions" or something. If you kill a fed God you get rewarded a bit extra for it.

Exactly. There are no, shall we call them 'force multipliers,' in smite. No shut down bonus, no penalty for dying if you are overfed (not that i would suggest that) nothing to level the playing field aside from taking him out early, which isn't always an option. Like that Zeus that went 22/2

Actaully there is. If i kill a very fed god i get more god then the base 300 and i get less if i kill a god i just killed with 70 gold being the lowest. I once got 700 gold from 1 kill.
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

Really? That is interesting. I don't always pay attention to how much exp is gained from a kill. I'll have to look into that.
