What I find ironic is that Sub quotes Kulukan's nerf as an example of Hi-Rez's bad balancing decisions, when before it was nerfed Sub was complaining that you "brushed your toe in his tornado and lost half your health"

Obviously something ridiculously overpowered can be nerfed to the ground. If you had an ability that automatically one shots the enemy team no matter what on a 1 second cooldown. Then nerfed it to a 10000 second cooldown and made it deal 1 damage to the whole enemy team. It would be bad balance before and after.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
