green, don't bring stuff said in pm's into threads. A: we have no idea whats true and whats not and B: you keep the damm discussions in the threads and dont even start making pm's about the same subject i dont care who made the pm, i dont care what was said in it.

as for the reddit posts. there is a reason why i never go to reddit and that's mostly because half the people have no idea what they are talking about.

what i can see with my eyes as true.

the thing sub said in the first message of the reddit thread was something directly quoted from you. thus saying he changed half the stuff means that you lied to everyone here. the only thing he did not quote from you is the title of the reddit thread. it is interpertrable that you think bacchus is OP however from what you said in this thread though you did not out right say it.

your reddit post is not something directly quoted from sub. sub said in his tier list that bacchus falls under the garbage tiers following the rules he set up for his tier list. that is important to remember.

Green, I don't think you realize this, but you were the one to bring up the reddit. You were the one who started this idiotic **** measuring contest. Dacoqrs is right here, bringing up the reddit was pointless.

(That, and Reddit is full of idiots with no idea on how to play the game.)

In the end, you can't defend your arguments, and resort to exaggeration, outsourcing, and accusing me of police brutality, or whatever the forum equivalent is. As per the usual.

(And my God, FFS, stop speaking like Arka. It's freaking me out.)

Sub, in his defense, you can't defend your arguments, and you resort to cherrypicking and underexaggerating and all the dirty tricks you accuse him of. Yeah, you both have weak arguments, in all honesty.

Can we just lock this thread? It's gone nowhere for the past few pages and is just becoming a tension raising minefield. Just agree to disagree.

Also, balance discussions in general are getting dull as dishwater. It's just always two people arguing with each other constantly and it isn't fun or productive any more.

Okay guys, I kept out of such threads for one simple reason - Everything in such threads goes to insulting people. That is the way that SmiteFire works for I don't know, a month or 2? Before that discussions were interesting and people actually proved something and gave facts, and not - you think bacchus is strong? You disagree with me? you are idiot then. That is the first thing to come to my mind, and not only Sub is like that. I don't defend anyone.

So guys maybe we all need to re-think what a normal discussion is? Cause the discussion here are no more interesting. What I see lately on Smitefire - Offtopic discussions (cool, some of them are funny and every forum needs such) and discussions that i try not to participate, because they turn into.. well read previous comments and everything gets clear. Although I disagree with some things in tierlist but I did not write about them because of that.

So IMO we just need to keep constructive discussions without insulting each other.. And for god's sake - No more tierlists. This tierlist is Sub's opinion that I highly disagree with, but please lets not make such topics anymore because they are just full of toxic comments after a few days.

That were my 5 cents..

I'd ask that we move back to discussion on the topic/god in question instead of getting into a heated personal debate.

To provide a few discussion suggestions:

This is Sub's person tier list, even as said in the title. As such, you shouldn't really aim to prove it wrong so much as discuss why he places it there.

Secondly, he's obviously going to defend his tier list, and people who disagree with it can have different viewpoints on the gods in question; I've seen good arguments from both sides. But since this is just another person's version of the Razemage thread, we shouldn't take it too seriously and get personally involved. If you have your own idea, at the threat of clogging forums, make your own tier list.

Finally, this should be a good environment that helps us see behind why people think a certain kit/item set/playstyle is bad when others aren't. We see Sub doesn't like bacchus, and now knowing why, we can get an idea of what he wants in gods, and why future gods may be good/bad despite our opinions differing. Use it to see how he thinks about gods, without trying to force him to change, or vice versa. Sub shouldn't try to force others to see his point, but rather express why he feels what he does.

So to wrap up, the aforementioned statements can be either what I've seen or what I'm cautioning against, but either way, this is getting a tad inflammatory, so I'm going to have to ask we corral this topic back on track and not force me to lock it.

What sort of serious tier list would only have two tiers, garbage and nongarbage?

awnser to your question would be subs.

the base idea of how he looks at smite isn't completely wrong. if there is a god that simply get's out shined in every way by another and doesn't have a niché that allows it to still be viable then they will almost never get picked and if my memory serves well (trust me it always serves well) then that what happens.

dac i make this as a final reply, now listen to RT and talk about the subject or be silenced.
