I like him a lot. I especially enjoyed his Transformation attack, and how cleverly they integrated it into the game.

I feel that he's a bit underpowered. His one doesn't deal much damage, and his passive is...odd. I get the protections, but the crit chance feels out of place.

Also, his ult is weird. Anyone know how and where to use it? (Also, I have no idea what the enemy god sees, but the enemy Thanatos ulted the decoy, which was freaking hilarious).

I feel like a lot of people feel that he is a bit underpowered just because everyone was so used to him being an assassin, and now he is a bruiser. It seems like they put a lot more emphasis on him having CC and tankiness rather than pure burst damage, which I feel fits him a lot better. I can't wait to try him out in the jungle, hopefully I will have a new main jungler (cause I hate assassin junglers sooooooooooo much)

I wasn't here for the old sun wukong and i think hes fine. Yes the crit is a bit out of place, but it makes him, on the whole, kind of like Tryndamere. He gets suddenly a lot stronger at lower health. With his passive and the new Malice he has 90% crit chance at half health with Deathbringer at level 20. Plus eye of retaliation. And the extra 40 protections make him able to fight it out longer in lower health. Scary monkey O.O

The ulti is a bit odd. If he just jumped in the air it would make more sense, but since it has a wind up it kind of gives away the fact its a decoy. But if you are being swarmed by a bunch of enemies it gets you out of the way long enough for eagle form (escape) to come back up. Hop up in the cloud, come down with a bang, and fly fly away!

Be careful judging this early. I heard a lot of people write of Mercury as underpowered or even useless right after release, but he quickly become one of the junglers I feared the most. Then they buffed him due to all the complaints and now he's downright terrifying.

I quite like him. His one deals moderate damage, but it has decent range, lets him clear unusually safely for a warrior, and it always costs 50 mana, even at max rank, making it a very cheap ability. It also helps that it can be cast while moving and that it is fairly wide. His two deals less damage but has that sweet AOE knockup, his 3 needs some getting used to but is an excellent skill that grants both utility and damage while the ult is decent. It doesn't feel amazing, but it definitely has its uses.

I find the ult can be used in many ways. It is a CC immune "leap" with a heal, making it somewhat similar to Tyr's Lawbringer in terms of escape potential. The heal also means he can use it in the middle of a big fight, regain some health and cooldowns before getting back down and finishing people off. In 1v1's it can be used for easy damage and to gain the decoy, and it is also decent for chasing people down if you get back down quickly enough. Even if you miss it helps you stay close enough until your 1 or 3 is ready to finish them.

Huh. I was wondering why I was spamming his abilities without losing too much mana, even on early levels.

I played with him in practice jungle, and sadly it appears that the clone cannot crit. I don't think other on-hit effects apply either, sadly. A pity, since that would be perfect for his passive.

Also, the share of physical power seems to be 50%, and I presume it's the same for defense.

I got 5 ticks of healing with his ult, which gives an impressive 25% healing, which is 35% with Stone of Gaia.

Nope, only for his physical damage defense stays the same.

How about a skill build? I've been maxing his 3, s the tiger does insane dmg, followed by 1 and then 2 and getting ulti last of all. Ult is more for utility imo.

Personally ive been maxing his 1. Fairly quick wave clear and about as close to a snipe as he can get. After that i move on o his 3. But I'm still trying stuff out, and it hasnt really worked for me so far (one real game, woopee!)

he is a great ganker with that early stun and damage. his camp clear sucks though. they should really make him do a bit more damage with his 1.
never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

I think the 1 is fine. He is pretty powerful, and so it's air enough he has only decent damage on a cheap long range ability with high ease of use.

As a jungler, I could see him be somewhat similar to Loki, in that he has to choose between having good clear or powerful ganks during the early levels. And his ganks are definitely powerful, the tiger form on his 72 Transformations at max rank has 380 base damage and 80% scaling with a stun! He can then increase the CC duration with his Master's Will, easily hit them as they try to run with his The Magic Cudgel and finish them with Somersault Cloud if necessary. Don't forget that all the CC also makes it easy for whoever is already in lane to deal damage, he can set up a Release The Kraken! effortlessly.
