My tips:

Queue with friends. It takes out a rager and you can troll around while having fun. There are many on the site I'd actually recommend. Especially TT, his voice is majestic.

Play fun game modes. Conquest is known as the prime, and therefore serious, gamemode, which is why I refrain from playing it if I have the choice. Assault and Arena are much more jovial since it's just a kill-based game and straightforward, and anything can work.

Take minor breaks. Don't go through 10 games in a sitting for several hours. You'll wear yourself out over time.

Get good. ;D
kidding.
But seriously, have fun with the game, ignore people who rage, if YOU are doing well. And play fun games where a leaver doesn't ruin everything.

I honestly can't play more than three games in one session, 3 is the max for me. I'm lucky if I even have the willpower to do that many. Usually it's two, then I'm frustrated so I just quit.

League and Smite will always be filled with ****** try-hard's, hey that just rhymed.

But really they just end up ruining the game for everyone. I ended up quitting league about 3 or 4 times! Before I finally learned how to deal with it, report, mute and move on.

Yes I may have made a mistake, but I'm doing things and taking actions to fix them unlike the players who are usually to stupid and blind to admit their own faults and fix their own mistakes. These try-hards are always looking for a scapegoat so they don't have feel bad about their own mistakes and take actions to fix them.

so I do not wish death on them, I pity them and wish them the best outside of the game.

But in game I'm sorry I hate dealing with toxicty and I'm going to report that guy and he will most likely have to make a 3rd account. These toxic plays just blame their bad attitude and lost games on bad players. However there is never an excuse to act like an animal and make your team mates feel like garbage.

Also ask most of these players who are toxic how many accounts of theirs have been banned. Most of the time they will say their main account got banned or their on their 3rd or 4th account. It dosn't even phase them to have their accounts taken away because they can always just make a new one. Because they honestly believe they got trolled, and that they truly are challenger, diamond, plat level players who are just being held back by matchmaking.

So again pity them, for they are infected with insanity doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Sorry but they will never go MLG Pro that way, at least until they change their attitudes about the game.

We on the other hand come here to not only read guides and write them, we talk strategy and theory crafting, when something doesn't work we take the time to see why it didn't, they don't, we do.

So again pity these and stop letting them under your skin, and this goes to everyone here on SmiteFire because in a year from now these toxic players will be in the same spot in matchmaking and you most likely will be where they want to be.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
