I don't take back the part where I said use aeigis.. however

DAYMMNNNNN!!!!

That ult does more damage then I thought, I was Anubis and I died by her ult on like almost half of a damn bar of HP. I literally was close to Half HP and that **** killed me.

Ya something is fd up about that. I could see if it only did a tad of damage, but that **** she hit me with took almost half a bar of instant damage that is unavoidable when aegis is down. It would be different if it was **** damage.

I'm going to paste a few paragraphs from a post I made on the "New Wa" thread:

I personally think her new ultimate is a bit unfair. Not OP, just unfair. I say this because while in Conquest, we were against a Nu Wa who was soloing, while I was in the duo lane. Whenever either myself or the support had little to no health, Nu Wa would just ult and kill us. I think this is an extremely unfair advantage, because Nu Wa was on the complete oppposite side of the map, and she still managed to kill us. And there's no possible way to avoid her ult except maybe Aegis.

Other similar ults, you can at least try to avoid. Rama's ult, for example, relies on aim. You can easily jump or try to dodge his attacks. Thanatos and Thor have a certain range where they can't get you if you're too far away. I think Nu Wa's ult should have a distance limit applied as well. Because it's incredibly unfair that she can hit you no matter where you are on the map (even if you're in the fountain!).

I think it would benefit her more if her ult was reduced to a certain distance, but the damage was a tad higher. That would be a nice compromise.

From this I can tell you haven't played against new wa yet (and didn't see the dev stream about her).

when she ults some sort of marker thingy comes on you with an outer ring closing when it reaches the normal ring you get hit making it really easy to aegis it.

Okay that's fine, but still, is pretty OP right now, not just her ult but her minions and stuns as well as Raventhor said.

I'm not saying she isn't, she is a little OP at the moment. The clay soldiers can be pretty idiotic sometimes with their movement though... They generally like to prioritize following the minion lane pattern over enemies. One thing that I find puzzling is that even though she is so strong I still don't see many people play her. Whenever a new god gets released and isn't all that balanced I generally see a flood of people playing them. Maybe cause it is a rework?

Yes. And they're probably thinking they're OP so they play them.
