So, Smite is awesome. The hero design is not. Seriously, every female god is the same model. With some recoloring and a wig casually slapped on, of course.

I have been speculating a bit about what really goes on at the design team's meetings.
I believe it would be something along the lines of:

"Guys. New female god. Let's put some effort into making her feel unique and awesome."

"Or we could just go for tits"

"Tits it is then"

I like jiggle physics™ as much as the next guy, but this is boring.

Sorry if this has been brought up a million times before. Also sorry for being ranty.

So, it is time. To tits or not to tits?

i do not have a big probleme with oversexualised goddesses. male gods get oversexed to but i hear no complaints there. goddesses are divine utlra being that should pose as impossible to reach statusess.

now when it take's away from that gods main purpose.

cough*Athena is sounds like a dumb blond bimbo*cough it bothers me. her look though doesn't.

artemis is ment to be a virgin and goddess of the hunt. if they apro her up it wouldn't make sence.

Nemesis. nemesis is fine in my opinion.

never forget dawngate and never forgive EA. Freia will hunt them for eternity.

I get what your saying but there are many gods who share a body.

Nemesis-nu wa-isis
Aphrodite-hel

For female example's

Thor-chaac-wukong
Zeus-ra
As male example's

There are a lot more male gods then female so it's less obvious.

I do think it depends on the godesses themselves. As mentioned, Artemis is not sexualized because she is not a sexual god. Aphrodite on the other hand, that's what she is ALL about so they made her look like it. Sure, things get iffy when you get to Athena and Nemesis looking like they do, but if we're going to get into mythology and lore here...Greeks were worshippers of the body and loved it. Naturally, all of their gods where strong and beautiful and who weren't afraid to show it. I feel like it works just fine like that. Nu wa was kind of a stretch but all the other gods follow the lore just fine in my opinion. It just wouldn't be proper for a Greek god to be so covered up.

Well. At least you know if you pick any female character you don't have to worry about not having boobs to watch jiggle. Except Artemis, but no one likes her anyways. She doesn't put out.

I made a thread like this saying almost the exact same thing a few weeks ago. So basically, I pretty much agree with everything you said, minus the statement, "to tits or not to tits."

If they just gave "not tits" as the design for every goddess, I'd be making this argument from the opposite side. I just want balanced variety, not this clustered mass of half-baked "sex sells" ********.

Also, if you force your designers to create a design where all goddesses are half naked, you lose the chance to make some really neat outfit designs.
