Exactly. One million kills for an amount of gems that literally can't buy anything, and it requires a terrible skin to qualify. Woo.

Literally everything about it. It's ugly, it doesn't fit, the voice is awful

Honestly, if you don't like the skin, don't buy it, and this event won't concern you. I fail to see how it's a bad event.

As for the skin not fitting, look at some of the other skins in Smite and tell me if they fit their respective gods/goddesses (eg: Feaster Bunny, Dark Whisperer, Scarlet Coven, etc). It's supposed to be a fun skin (obviously not for all) that doesn't play off of the mythology of the character. I understand if people don't like it, but saying it doesn't fit is pretty much what this skin, and plenty of other skins, are supposed to be going for.

I've always hated this response. If they don't like it then they obviously won't buy it, doesn't mean they can't give their opinion on it.

As for the thread, the event doesn't bother me. I don't have or want the skin anyway. The gems you get back won't get you much anyway, as someone else mentioned, maybe an icon.

That would be all fine and dandy if you didn't pick out a piece of my sentence rather than the entire sentence to see that it was more about the event, rather than the skin itself. As I stated in the same post: "I understand if people don't like it", which pertained to the skin itself. The statement that you partially quoted was pretty much all about the event, and while, as I stated, I fail to see how it's a bad event, I did not state that anyone can't state their opinion on it. I stated my own opinion because that what my opinion is.

Fun stuff, right?

@SoapSuds - I picked it out because it's an incredibly common and pointless reply. Granted, someone saying 'I don't like this skin' is a pointless statement, too.
Forgetting about the event, you'd still see that reply if someone stated that they didn't like a particular skin. The rest of your post is irrelevant to my point.

Let me explain I've wanted to play a all chaac event when chaac came out. Now that there is one I have to fill a prerequisite to play which is buy an ugly skin(subjective). Most skins cost 400 gems some the best skins cost 400 gems like space monkey hun batz(subjective). The goal of the event is ridiculously high, and if you hit it you would have still paid 450 gems. Going off on a tangent. Call me cheap if you will but 600 gems is too much for any skin with that I could buy 3 voice packs, 1 skin 1 voice pack, 2 voice packs and one skin that would 9500 favor for 200 gems, and 2 ward skins.
