Hel. Read my somewhat outdated guide and you'll find out. ;)

Runner-ups would be Isis, Arachne, Ymir, Scylla, and Chang'e. Oh, and Bakasura when I ever play Conquest.

I main Hades and Athena. Hades as a solo laner or mid laner, and Athena as support and jungle. I don't adc

Hmm well here I go

Guardian: Ymir or Geb (possibly Kumbhakarna)
Assassin: Hun Batz, Fenrir, and im starting Loki
Bruiser: Tyr (all the way), Odin, Wukong
Mage: Vulcan, Hel, Zhong
Hunter: Art, now using Ullr more

Arena: Usually Ullr or Tyr, but really anyone I'm good at
Conquest: Odin (most of the time), Ullr, or Geb
3v3: any of those previous gods
Assault: .... cant choose :(

Well, too many. RADISH STEAL ENGAGE.

ADC: Artemis (because the dmg), Apollo (because horses and dmg) and Neefus (Because trolling)

Tank: SUN WUKONG (because immortality and stealing potential), Theenus (because taunt) and Spergules (because lesser immortality)

Mid: Hebopottamus (Because burst), Isis (because birds) and Ra (because KFC)

Jungle: Ne Zha (because 1035 DAMAGE SASH), Nemesis (because easy kills) and Hebopottamus (because burst)

Solo: Chronos (because speed, burst and glorious fun), Hel (because everything everyone else said), Chaac (SUSTAIN) and San Wukang (because SUN WUKONG)

Overall, I'd say Sun Wukong, Chronos and Ne Zha.

I mostly play Assault because I love being matched with a random god/goddess and utilizing that particular one in any way I can.

However, when I play other game modes, these are usually the ones I lean toward or would lean toward if I played them more than every once in a while outside of Assault:

ADC: Apollo. Back when I played only Conquest and Arena, I almost always played Apollo. Love his mobility. Also used to play a lot of Anhur.

Mage: Isis. She's just so damn fun.

Tank: I usually end up playing Ymir. Not really too fond of him to be honest, but he does get the job done.

Warrior: Guan Yu. Dude is fun as hell and majestic, yet beastly as **** with that horse.

Assassin: I have literally only jungled once while playing Smite, or any MOBA in general, and I chose Loki for that (and actually did really well). However, I've been having a lot of fun lately in Assault with Arachne and Ne Zha, both of whom I used to hate because I sucked with them. I would imagine having plenty of fun with them if I tried them outside of Assault, as well, and actually, I did play Ne Zha in a 3v3 and had a ton of fun, and played Arachne in a 1v1 with a friend and had a ton of fun as well.

Ymir, all the way. He can Jungle, support, solo (not really), be a magical bruiser and in general a boss. :3

I switch around sometimes, but my main is definitly Agni. If you learn to play he right he can just dominate games and gets you tons of kills.

I hate assault, it is so uncertain, and feels really weird without proper team comp (when is there anyways though). But whatever floats your boat.
