It's true that Toph couldn't face on the entire army by herself, but I'm confident the creators know their fanbase enough to show her giving Kuvira a major *** whooping before being overpowered by sheer numbers. Will be interesting to see how harvesting the Swamp plays out regardless.

Since Korra clearly still has psychological trouble as shown in the Battle of Zhoufu, I am 100% certain that she will confront Zaheer in his prison and then confront him. Then, the finale will be Kuvira attempting to take Republic City and Korra, finally fully recovered (and even further matured), will be able to take her down.


Also, can't wait for Hiroshi Sato to work with Varrik IT SHALL BE CANON

zaheer and the other villains are finished in her mind, all she needs to fight is her self, thats the reason she is seeing her self and only her self.

Like TT said, I predict the next episode is going to look something like:
Toph fights Kuvira, she overpowers her because she is the greatest earth bender that has ever lived (she said so herself), but she ultimately has to retreat duo to Kuvira having a freaking ARMY behind her, which Kuvira lets her do since the spirit vines are priority, Toph goes to Republic city and continues to train Korra's.

Why am I so certain that Toph continue to train Korra you ask?

Think about, what is Kuvira's main form of battle technique? Restraining her opponents limbs and eyes using metal bands to cripple and blind them. So if Toph teaches Korra who too see with earth bending (just like she did with Aang) Kuvira will have a much harder time fighting her.

Also I really REALLY want to see Bolin's reaction when he meets Toph. I expect much fanboy-ness and a high probability of fainting :P

Welp, I am officially un-hyped for today's episode. It's essentially going to be filler because Book 4's budget was cut by about a full episode's worth of animation. It's only going to have about five minutes of new footage. I guess 1 Toph, 1 Kuvira, 1 Swamp isn't happening until next week.
