I think most people would like to play a bit more serious but not too serious, so why not join one of the community's tournies for gems etc.

Yup. The readiness is good, HolyPudding, and SMFG will, most probably, go competitive in the future. But as of now we're lacking a active roster and knowledge on who mixes well and who doesn't. SMFG is not forcing a competitive team, but it'll gradually build itself.
That's just my 2 cents.

I would like to make an offer to smfg EU.

Eagle gaming, the clan animus and me are in is looking for scrims everyday. It is a good training for both teams and your players would get a general idea how competitive matches go and we would get the chance to train.

So do you want to plan a scrim for today or tomorrow? Or a different day.

The ones you mentioned are all US, I think, Danny. (Except for Buddha, but he's not online daily afaik)

I'm not the captain nor a leading figure of SMFG EU or anything - simply a measly member - but you can add me in-game and I'll see what I can do when i'm online. (NEDQ)

We don't have a set of 5 EU players or anything like that, and we aren't all at the same skill level. (although most are puurtty good) we do often have 5 man parties but not the appetite for a 8 minute sitdown with a high chance on not matching.

I also find myself in non-SMFG 5 man parties occasionally, so add me regardless on if the others are interested or not.

Just out of curiousity, did you use any other platform to get scrims up to this point?

Well I'm fine with both EU and US servers lol.

But I guess it's a big difference when your from the US and you get 900 ping from the EU server

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
