I have not once been a tournament. So I have no idea how to organize this. If someone could help I'd appreciate it. But it seems we're short on members. So really we're still far from being anywhere. That's what I think. Or we could just go with the same 5 people each match. With maybe 2 people on stand by just incase

Unless someone wants to correct me. We need more serious players. I for one would like us to be in the tournament. At least passing the qualifiers.

I've been in two Casual EU tournaments. Even though I wasn't the caller or leader, i'm atleast a little familiar with the scene.

Personally, I'd just see who's competitively interested and start having games with those people. (EU and US, rotating if more than 5)

Since Porz21 and I defnitely want to go competitively, we'll be asking members regularely if they want to play with us. Be it for fun, or to see if they're into competitive play. It's more casual that way. hitting up the roster and having an elimination proces doesn't seem to be in Smitefire's taste. (Or the clan's, for that matter)

If we find ourself with more than 10 people who want to go competitively, we can always set up tiers. But I doubt that'd be neccesary.

So uh, in summary: let the members figure it out for themself. - Even though I suggested an approach like this - I think having it work itself out is ideal.

Don't forget that the Smitefire clan is just a clan for people who enjoy playing with others + have some affinity with Smitefire, ideally. So no need to go 5v5/ranked if you don't feel like it!

If this gets support, I can jungle or support in the NA team, and shoutcast/help coach an EU team with anything I see.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
