I got 128 on the second test because my verbal and knowledge are so low cause i'm not a general knowledge guy

Pretty sweet! I scored a bit higher on knowledge and verbal, but my speed was a fair bit lower, you really plowed trough it. :o

IQ measures your ability to learn, in the most basic sense. While there are exceptions, those with higher IQ will understand new things easier than those with a lower number, or at least have a higher degree of comprehensibility. As such, those with a high IQ can learn anything necessary of a job more easily, as a general rule of thumb.

But in no means should it be necessary, they're probably just trying to gain an advantage any way they can.

I highly doubt any IQ test's usefulness, since as the OP said, you can practice for them.

I don't like IQ tests because I feel the general knowledge segments aren't an accurate measure of how well someone can learn something. In addition, they do not cover creativity and more socially oriented abilities, which are undeniably a huge part of someone's intelligence. This has always been an unfair bonus to my scores when I've taken them, as I'm very uncreative and instead excel in mathematical and analytical areas, which is a large portion of many IQ tests.

But really, I think I should reiterate that one of the most inaccurate ways, in my opinion, to determine a person's intelligence is general knowledge. Especially ******ed knowledge that doesn't actually apply to life, like the horoscope and astronomy questions on that test.

That aside, here's mine:

You had the lowest score in Practical and Technical Intelligence. Those online tests just tell you what you want to hear. Seriously.

My brother tried it, and he's in the top percentile and a genius. I tried it, genius too. A friend of mien tried it. Guess what, genius.

Either this is a stupid coincidence or those sites are shams.
