Basic Build

Notes There are a lot of fun items in Smite... Gem of Isolation, Ethereal Staff, Sacrificial Shroud, etc. and if you're playing anything other than Conquest, you should build those. I mean you can build them in Conquest too. Don't let me hold you down with this boring build.

But if you want a decent build to run in Conquest, here you are m'lady.

Notes For anti-heal purposes.

You can get anti-heal as early or late as you feel necessary. Divine Ruin is always a valuable pickup, even if they don't have straight-up healers and just have lifesteal.

Hera's Skill Order Notes If you are laning against a mid or jungler and you don't feel safe walking up far enough to get the full effect of Royal Assault you may want to consider maxing Polymorph first since it has a very long range.

It doesn't do as much damage and it is not as good as Royal Assault by any means but if you cannot safely use Royal Assault then its better to max it 2nd.

Pros + Cons

PROS

She has the ability to turn a team fight into a 6v5 with Argus, the Defender.
Polymorph is amazing damage and CC, with very long range on a very short cooldown.
Her abilities give her decent self peel and she can do a lot of damage and waste a lot of time if she's being dove.
All of her abilities are on short cooldowns and she has passive CDR.

CONS

She can be locked down very easily because she is immobile.
If you don't position properly, you will be picked. She has 0 escape potential.
Vulnerable when Argus, the Defender is down.
You have to move up pretty far to clear with Royal Assault, which makes her susceptible to ganks.

Abilities

You should read Hera's abilities in detail either through Smite or here: https://smite.fandom.com/wiki/Hera

Each time Hera deals damage to gods with her Abilities or Basic Attacks Argus, The Defender's cooldown is reduced by 1s, and Divine Shroud's cooldown is reduced by 0.33s. If Argus is active he is instead healed.

In antiheal build you should swap Soul Gem and Divine around, if you need Divine you're not really going to wait till 5th item to build it generally.

Also none of the builds are bad, and Pendant / Focus is meta, but i'd maybe suggest trying out a few builds with Pendulum, Blood-Soaked, Magus, and Estaff (not all in one build necessarily) on Hera, even if you don't end up adding them here.

I had it in the notes that you can get it after Chronos but I swapped it anyways bc you are right! Also, I do acknowledge my builds are very boring and repetitive and it does get old running the same build with 1 item changed, is there a specific build you have in mind with those items?
