Hello everyone overld1 here again to show my Anubis guide and build.
Anubis is one of my favorite mages and I want to share my build to you guys. This build will focus more on power, lifesteal, and penetration. I will tell you the Pros and Cons of
Anubis himself and the build itself as well. I hope you like my build and rock on with the Noobis.
Pros:
1. Large amount of magical power.
2. Good amount of magical penetration.
3. Good amount of mana and mp5.
4. Good amount of magical defense.
5. Decent amount of health.
6. Slight amount of CDR.
7. Could escape through Combat Blink.
Shoes of the Magi
Cost: 700 (1600)
Stats:
+45 Magical Power
+18% Movement Speed
+10 Magical Penetration
Book of Thoth
Cost: 1060 (2560)
Stats:
+100 Magical Power
+125 Mana
+15 MP5
Passive: You permanently gain 10 mana per stack, and receive 5 stacks for a god kill and 1 stack for a minion kill (max 75 stacks). Additionally 3% of your mana is converted into magical power.
Pythagorem's Piece
Cost: 1230 (2600)
Stats:
+70 Magical Power
+15% Magical Lifesteal
+10% Cooldown Reduction
Aura: +20 Magical Power and 10% Magical Lifesteal to all allies within 70 units.
Obsidian Shard
Cost: 550 (2050)
Stats:
+70 Magical Power
Passive: You gain +33% Magical Penetration
Rod of Tahuti
Cost: 1420 (3320)
Stats:
+125 Magical Power
+15 MP5
Passive: Increases magical power by 25%.
Pestilence
Cost: 925 (2150)
Stats:
+65 Magical Protection
+300 Health
Aura: The healing and regeneration of enemies within 55 units is reduced by 25%.
Sorrow
Ability Type: Passive
Passive - All of Anubis' abilities steal Physical and Magical Protection from the target and he gains increased Scaling to his item-based Magical Lifesteal. In addition, Sorrow grants Anubis an additional 30% reduction to all Crowd Control durations.
Plague of Locusts
Ability Type: Cone
Description:A plague of locusts bellows forth from Anubis' mouth, smothering all enemies in the area and doing damage every .5s for 3s. Anubis is immune to knockback while channeling.
Damage per tick: 35/50/65/80/95
(+40% of your Magical Power)
Mana Cost: 60/70/80/90/100
Cooldown: 15s/14s/13s/12s/11s
Mummify
Ability Type: Projectile
Description: Anubis fires a bandage projectile, mummifying and stunning his target.
Stun Duration: 1.2s/1.4s/1.6s/1.8s/2s
Mana Cost: 60
Cooldown: 18s/17s/16s/15s/14s
Grasping Hands
Ability Type: Ground Target
Description: Anubis calls for help from the underworld as hands penetrate the ground and claw at his enemies, doing damage and slowing every .5s for 2s.
Damage per tick: 25/40/55/70/85
(+35% of your magical power)
Mana Cost: 70/80/90/100/110
Slow: 25%
Radius: 20
Cooldown: 15s/14s/13s/12s/11s
Death Gaze
Ability Type: Line
Description: Anubis focuses all of his energy into a piercing gaze, doing damage to all enemies in the path, every 0.1 seconds for 3 seconds.
Damage per tick: 23/28/33/38/43
(+15% of your magical power)
Mana Cost: 90
Cooldown: 90s/85s/80s/75s/70s
Pros:
1. Lots of Burst damage.
2. Great Minion and Jungle Camp clear.
3. Ability Combo that's easy to execute.
4. He's dangerous through all game phases.
Cons:
1. Very squishy early game.
2. Ability combo has several counters.
3. Must be stunned for two of his abilities.
4. Has no escapes with out actives.
My favorite mage of all time Anubis. This guy knows how to do damage like no tomorrow. This build focuses his main pro helping him to achieve that. For Anubis the most popular thing I see a lot on him is
Pythagorem's Piece and
Obsidian Shard. That gives him lifesteal and extra penetration. I gave
Anubis extra penetration and power with
Shoes of the Magi. To help with is mana problem I gave him
Book of Thoth that gives him extra mana and I got
Rod of Tahuti to give him extra Mp5. By looking at
Anubis stats he lacks of magical protection so that's why I put
Pestilence and is also two bonuses by increasing his health and decreasing enemies healing and regeneration. To help increase the insane magical power for
Anubis I added
Rod of Tahuti.

Regarding
It is my opinion at least, but there's one thing that should be changed regardless of subjectivity; switching actives (Never forget- RiP) to the new relics.
