Note: Due to RL stuff I'm no longer able to keep this guide up to date at this time. I absolutely love Nox and if I get the time to bring this up to speed for S4 I definitely will, though I'm not making any promises. Thank you all so much for helping make this guide such a success, and please bear in mind that all info in this guide may be irrelevant as of Season 4.
Hey everyone! I'm OMGASIA, casual Smite addict. While I know how to enjoy all casual game modes, I mostly play Joust and Arena. This was originally my first guide, and I created it as I noticed there weren't many Nox guides up. My how it has grown!
Patch 3.7 brought some love to our girl! See the full patch notes here!

This section covers how Nox can interact with other gods. Each section will give you information on how Nox can play with and against the specific Gods.
This will likely take some time for me to complete as I have some family things going on, so I thank you for your patience.
Currently Warriors have been started.
Thank you Smite Wiki for powering this section!

Although you'll often initiate with Siphon Darkness, it doesn't do damage until the end, and it's quickly followed by Shadow Lock after being cast.
Spear of the Magus, when considering only Nox and her enemy, does the equivalent of 45 penetration (30 protection reduction at full stacks, 15 flat pen). This is superior to Obsidian Shard until an enemy gets around 135 magical protection (33% of 135 is around 45). A squishy building 0 protection items has around 30-50 magical protection at level 20, so even if they get 1 protection item, it's likely Spear is still going to be a better item.
Also, even Night Terror has a DoT effect, so for Nox...it just seems like the better choice. Make sense?
As a fellow nox player, very good guide, on your skill section though, you have Siphon of Darkness' duration wrong. Its 2 seconds, not 3. Good guide though. Not trying to hate on you
That must've flown under the radar when it changed! Thank you! I've updated it to reflect the 2 seconds properly.
Thanks for fixing the colors!
You're welcome! Thanks for letting me know it was an issue :)
Welp i misunderstood then. Spear of the magus offers more inherent pen then Spear of Desolation, so magus is more preferred. If you still want desolation than replace the lifesteal. And desolation costs ALOT, it is easier to get when ahead.
It's alright, I'll just stick with Spear. I found another build and mixed the 2 up and love what I'm doing currently!
By Spear? Ima assume you mean rod of tahuti, and the answer is no. A 125 increase to 400 PLUS 25% of that power (which is around 125-135) makes your total power around 650. Its too big of a power boost to get rid of.
Spear of the magus
Honestly I was thinking maybe Warlock's Sash instaed of Book of Thoth this is the definition of supersquish, while the damage is good if something goes wrong, she's pretty screwed.
That's why t full build is labelled as super squish :) You'll find warlock's sash in the second build. I tend to use the 4th.
