Buy your starter items quickly, go place two wards, then return to fountain and refill the chalice. North and south of the two purple buffs are two walls, a trail between them, place the wards in a way that it covers both sides so you have coverage if a rotation is made.
Get Gauntlet Of Thebes online asap to begin stacking.
Ultimately, your boots are up to you. Shoes of Focus are good for cooldown, damage, as well as additional mana to help sustain you in lane. Travelers are great for making rotations as well as getting back to lane quickly. Both are viable and have their place, what makes the decision for me more often than not is my carry. If they have poor wave clear ie Artemis, Shoes of Focus are a better choice.
Sovereignty for protections and hp5 for your carry. Shoguns for increased attack speed and boxing potential for your carry. Jade emperors crown for reduced damage for the enemy carry. Heartward for protections and mp5. Pestilence for good anti heals when facing a high sustain duo lane.
Always go one magical one physical item, Shoguns is more of a niche item but it has its place, when you have a carry who strongly benefits from higher attack speed ie Artemis, Izanami etc.
Void stone is great if you have a multiple mage comp ie solo/mid, jungle/mid, mid/carry, solo/carry.
Stone of Binding will help your team lockdown targets effected by your 1 or 3 with additional pen. Its also very cheap, I fit this in builds frequently.
Spirit robe is more of a selfish item, but the added CC reduction and cooldown is great, not to mention an amazing passive.
This is a good opportunity to pickup an aura item that you did not pickup before, as well to get bonus mitigation with Oni Hunter Garb, buff and debuff towers/phoenixs through emperors armor, or gain additional protections and cooldown through mantle of discord.
Horrifics is great for team fighting, initiating, and lockdown.
Shell is good for teamfights where the other team has lots of area damage.
Heavenly wings is typically my go to, if you ult an ally, and they are revived at your location, i will almost always pop sprint so they are able to get out safely.
This is my second guide on SmiteFire, and my first on Khepri. I have Khepri mastery rank 8 as well as being ranked platinum last split and diamond this split.
The most important thing to remember is that you are the anchor for your team, you will not get the glory, the kills, or be able to single handedly carry a game. BUT, what you can do is protect your allies, lockdown targets, and most importantly prevent allies from dying, literally. Allies will get angry when they die and you still have your ultimate, but don't get discouraged, they'll love you when you save them next time.
It is very important that you counter build the enemy team every game, just as your teams comp will change every game so should your plan of attack and your build as well. Do not become complacent with a cookie cutter build.
In the few times I have played against other Khepri's it is very apparent who knows and who doesn't know what they are doing as far as early wave clear. Your 2, causes tick damage on enemies, and applies damage mitigation on allies. ALWAYS make sure you hit your 2 on your first three minions each wave, this will help keep them alive and allow you to push lane.
Your 3 is a root, and great for lockdown and peel for your carry.
Your 1 is a pull, good for initiation, lockdown, and peel for your carry.
Your ultimate is the bread and butter of Khepri, the one thing to remember though, is that it does NOT work against executes. If there's an Achilles or Thanatos jungle who ults your carry, there's not much you can do. One issue you will face is that when you ult an ally the enemy team will stop focusing them until your ult is gone. Try to be sure the enemy team is completely focused on that ally to catch them off guard with your ultimate.
You will want to focus leveling your 2 first, this helps with wave clear and is your main source of damage. Your 3 for a longer root duration, your 1 for a longer pull. I prioritize the 3 because your 1 can be cancelled, your 3 can't, not counting beads of course.
Always level your ult when you can, that way allies are always revived with the most hp possible. NEVER be afraid to ult yourself if you're the focus of a team fight, it is much better to be alive with no ult in a fight to help your team than it is to just be dead.
One thing to remember is that your are the tank, sure. But you are not a traditional frontliner/initiator. Khepri is more at home locking down targets, and creating peel for your allies when it hits the fan. Remember this, its a lot easier to land an ult on an ally when you can see them, its hard to land it when you're initiating and they're all behind you. Always have an ally in your vision.
All in all Khepri is a well rounded god who can change the direction of a team fight. The enemy team can 100% focus an ally, and you can shut them down with your ultimate. He is not a in your face initiating guardian like Athena or Cerberus. He more truly fits the support role as Geb does. He is a very fun and highly satisfying god to play especially when you save an ally from certain death.

Like you, I ALWAYS start with Chalice of the Oracle, the economy on the long run is too good to pass up. Besides, that prevents me from forgetting to buy Wards lol.
However, with Chalice of Healing, you’ll have some issues with mana, since Khepri is a little bit mana hungry in the early game. I’d recommend to start with 4 Multi Potion, so you’ll have both hp and mana sustain, and will also save 100 gold for your next item.
About Gauntlet of Thebes, I also think it is one of the best (if not the best) support items, but unfortunately I consider it too risky to be viable, due to the cost and the stacking necessary for it to bring the expected value. If you rush Sov/Heart, you’ll have better results earlier.
With boots, I always choose Shoes of Focus to solve Khepri’s issues with mana and cooldowns. I like to spam abilities as much as I can, so cdr and mana are a must for me.
For the third item, it’s either Sovereignty (if against physical ADC), Heartward Amulet (if against magical ADC), or Pestilence (if against a healer). And for the fourth item, I buy the protection I haven’t bought first, so if I bought physical first, I’ll build magical second and vice-versa.
The fifth and sixth items are always situational, but I like to build one more physical and one more magical protection, so I usually go Midgardian Mail/ Mystical Mail and Shogun's Kusari, but that’s just an example. As you can see, I’m obsessed with aura items, because I wanna bring as much utility to the team as I can.
And to replace Guardian's Blessing and finish the build, I usually go Mantle of Discord, because it makes me super tanky and I love it.
I won’t get much into the situational items and relics, because Kriega1 pretty much said everything about the topic, but I would add Hide of the Nemean Lion to the list.
It’s nice to see a recent Khepri build, he’s one of my favorite guardians and it’s about time he received some love around here :D
If you look at Pro support starts, none of them start with Oracle.
Mana shouldn't be a huge issue when you get Guardian's Blessing...the mana regen from that is solid, and I personally find that 3 Multi Potions are plenty in most cases.
Rather than directing against the ADC for my choice of Sov or Heart, I'm typically looking at the overall spread of enemies...3 magical including the ADC, and I'll consider either Heartward Amulet (defensive support) or Void Stone (aggressive support). Otherwise, I prefer Sov. 15 physical protection aura is generally stronger than 15 magical protection aura.
You need to consider your team when getting Shogun's. If your ADC is building a lot of AS, then it's probably not as helpful for them, though you might go beyond that scope and consider the rest of your team...if there are any other basic attackers, it can still be worth it.
Agree with Kriega...Mystical on Khepri isn't all that great. Midgardian is definitely good though.
The main reason I prefer meditation as an early relic is because it is a permanent effect opposed to shell, as well as giving mana, but of course, that is open to interpretation and opinions. Late game, yes, it does fall off.
Regarding the double chalice start, I find with guardians blessing and with the health chalice you have enough sustain in lane to get more gold. With my skill level as a support I am able to pull this off, granted not everyone can. They way that I look at it is, I’d rather spend the gold now and not later. If you keep buying 2 health potions every time you back, by the third time in fountain the chalice is the more cost effective option.
Regarding some of the items, I have not taken the time to watch any videos you posted yet Kreiga, but I will here shortly. I always go Thebes for the health, and the combo hp5 you can get with a sovereignty is a great bonus, as well as the added protections. Stone of binding is a great lockdown item, gives your carry extra pen against the enemy duo lane, as well as decent protection stats. The main reason I pick it often is because of the passive, as well as it’s cheap price.
Void stone is a highly situational item, I rarely build it but in some games, it does come in handy.
As I also said in the guide, I personally prefer the 3 over the 1 simply because the 1 can be cancelled, the 3 has a select few counters but more often than not it is more effective than the 1.
Regarding boots, I often build either shoes of focus for the mana and cooldown, or travelers for the movement speed with rotations. Reinforced shoes are of course a viable option, any of them are aside from shoes of the magi. I will be sure to add that in.
Overall I appreciate the opinions and feedback, I will be sure to revise the guide here shortly.
No mention of Reinforced Shoes at all for some reason...
You're building Khepri with Stone of Binding when you're not tanky enough in the build yet, and in the same build as Gauntlet of Thebes...
Void stone is not really a valid option on Khepri....
If jade emperors is built it should be immediately after boots otherwise the item is useless. PLEASE DO NOT BUILD THIS ITEM LATER THAN STRAIGHT AFTER BOOTS. It purely serves as a counter to a double physical duo-lane, and has minimal to no lategame relevance.
Improved builds:
(against 3 phys, 2 mag): Reinforced Shoes, Sovereignty, Oni Hunter's Garb, Spirit Robe, situational (e.g. Emperor's Armor ), situational (e.g. Mantle of Discord to handle burst or Talisman of Energy for sieging Phoenixes)
(against 3 mag, 2 phys): Reinforced Shoes, Sovereignty, Oni Hunter's Garb, Heartward Amulet, Spirit Robe, situational (e.g. Magi's Cloak). (can swap sov and heartward around depending on who is in duo lane).
Gauntlet of thebes/aura build: Reinforced Shoes, Gauntlet of Thebes, Sovereignty, Heartward Amulet, Spirit Robe, situational ( Mantle of Discord).
Add Winged Blade, Relic Dagger, Witchblade, Midgardian Mail, Talisman of Energy, as situational options.
The only relics that should be considered are: Heavenly Wings, Magic Shell, Horrific Emblem and Phantom Veil (for Odin). Please do not build Meditation Cloak as it's usefulness lategame is outclassed by shell, and shell peforms the same purpose in lane (if you're not an idiot wasting all your mana).
Start is ok, but I don't feel getting 2 chalices is good idea, as you want a bit of gold for boots. So either go: Guardian's Blessing, Shoes, 3 x Healing Potion and 3 x Multi Potion for lane sustain OR: Guardian's Blessing, Chalice of the Oracle and 2 or 3 x Healing Potion if you want to ward for the early duo lane gank.
Also you should level the 1 before the 3, seeing as it provides protections and silences enemies, rather than rooting them. And the protections given are more relevant early game.
If you want some more references for building khepri see if jeffhindla, polarbearmike or emilzy have some khepri videos on their youtube that are up to date or:

Please take this advice and improve the builds otherwise I see no reason to not downvote it. And if you already listed your starter you don't need to include it in the example build.
I'll withhold vote for now.
While reading your Khepri guide and going over the builds, I had a few questions that I thought I would pose as possible feedback/subjects of discussion.
