Before I start, this is not a guide, this is purely a build. Probably not a good one but I enjoy it. Final build gives you just under 4000 Health and pretty awesome damage. Sometimes i'll build more health and go for mystical mail instead of the breastplate but CD is always nice. Have fun being a burden to all those who oppose you!

Pros
+ Virtually unkillable
+ Surprising amount of damage
+ One of the most irritating and disruptive gods to be against, especially with Gem of Iso
+ Excellent as an off-tank thanks to his passive
Cons
- Slow and Clunky
- CC ruins his 3
- Ult is easy to escape
- Passive does not apply to himself
If you fancy being a pain in the *** then this is a build worth trying. Doesn't have to be exact to my build, your own discretion is advised! Gem and Ethereal are a must to make the build however. Good luck and have fun!

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

I see your point with void stone however, maybe more useful early or not at all. I was going for some magical defence without loosing out on damage. Spirit robe might well be a better alternative, or heartward.
Will just comment with my thoughts.
If you do decide to build Warlock's Sash, suggest building before Ethereal Staff so you can start working on stacks sooner. Usually best not to have a guardian focus on the minion wave though...
On those lines, would probably suggest building Ethereal Staff later. It's very similar to Warlock at full stacks. Probably be better served by getting earlier CDR (e.g. Breastplate of Valor or Spirit Robe.
Also, Void Stone when everyone's fully built is a bit underwhelming at that point...15 reduced protections is fairly weak, though there's little penetration in the build to start. I guess anything helps when you don't have much.
Here's an adjusted build you might like to try, but still focusing on the strengths of your original build:
Just ideas...
