Nothing fancy about this i guess. Just want to survive.
I noticed that i go more with gladiators shield. Simply i play better with gladiator shield. You can go with blackthorn hammer if you prefer it more. I simply like the healing and the extra protection.
Yes Void shield. I just like it. If the opponent is magical you can switch it out to Ancile or runic shield. and i go shogun for the magical defense and the CDR and CCR and the nice passive.
depending on the situation i change the final item.
So i consider any of these items to be good if you lack physical or magical protection. However i pay attention that CDR ( avoid over cap) should be near the cap and CCR should not over cap because of Horus passive.
Well i think this is more depending your choice i like to go with magic shell or beads mostly.
Buy wards :)
I like runic shield its a great item for protection and to support your team with debuff.
Or you can go with spirit robe... however then you cap CCR and making a part of Horus passive useless.
Here i added mystical mail for protection and some AOE dmg.
Against magical when you cant deal with it.
Becasue i cant forget anti-heal
You can choose anything else besides golden blade. Its just goes well with Horus 1.

Hi,
so Horus is out so i tought why not add my build. You will see that you can play around with his build how ever you want. I mainly keep my core items and add some of the meta/ favourite items.
*Please note that Horus is freshly out so this build might change.*
This build is a solo build. Im not adding support build.
I mostly try to cap or keep the CDR around 30% and the CCR also around 20% so the passive of Horus can work (dunno how much the CCR cap actually helps)
Horus is very tanky at the start so you can go more dmg oriented and with his heals and protection you can sustain a lot.
Of course alot of items depending on situation and personal preference and of course the state of your game and game mode.
I adding some build variations just for fun to show how i play around.
Enjoy it and add your constructive comments :)
Pros:
Any God with high CC. CC is just disguisting in Smite and can be a major problem for any god.

I'm not sure how I feel about Shogun's Kusari because I'm not sure Horus can get good use out of it. I'd probably go Genji's Guard/ Ancile/ Pestilence depending upon what I need more of.
As Vini pointed out, Blackthorn Hammer might be in there a bit too early. It was recently nerfed, so I think it shouldn't be bought until after your protections are bought - it can be a decent replacement for your blessing, with Masamune replacing Gladiator's Shield.
Relic-wise you're looking to cover what your support doesn't get, though Teleport Glyph is usually the first choice for gods without a whole lot of mobility. Your second relic should be something along the lines of Belt of Frenzy, Heavenly Wings, Horrific Emblem, or Magic Shell (generally only if your support doesn't pick it up). You can look into Phantom Veil against Odin, Ymir, or Cabrakan, but they're pretty easy to avoid and Odin's not the same as he used to be. Niche relic picks would be Purification Beads, Aegis Amulet, and Shield of Thorns (for tick damaging gods like Anubis). You generally only want to buy these relics IF you absolutely need them because you're job is to help your team during fights by providing pressure/diving the enemy's back line.
Thoughts?
Let me play devil's advocate and say that Shogun's Kusari is a viable option for him. Due to his long cooldowns, sometimes you'll have to box your opponent or clear the wave using basics, and Shogun's passive will help you with that. It also gives 10% CDR.
I'm not a fan of Ancile because the passive is really only useful against mages with chanelling abilities (I can only think about Anubis' 1 and Merlin's 1 on fire stance). So, not really that useful.
Unless you're being completly destroyed in lane and need defenses asap, I'd still recommend Blackthorn right after boots, because you really need the CDR.
I don't recommend Hydra's Lament at all for a solo lane build.
You should remove Warrior's Blessing of all your recommended builds.
Why is Stone Cutting Sword listed? It doesn't synergize at all with his kit.
I'd also get rid of Bracer of Undoing, since it isn't a good relic for Conquest.
I dont think you can list every possible scenario :)
And then you consider, early game most gods don't have anti-heal. Late, the chances of anti heal are much higher, so the sustain you get likely decreases, percentage-wise. Glad shield should almost always be bought very early and sold late.
Stone cutting is good as even with 40 CDR you still got longer cooldowns... so shreding defense with basics is good ... also with the gust from 1 you can also use it.. and gust does great dmg.
Hydra is also good as it synergizes well and got CDR.
