Build the shield first if you know you're fighting a physical god. If unsure, start with guardian's blessing, T1 shoes, then finish shoes after obtaining enough gold. Use the (safe) build.
This is a safe start, you can safely cower into tower while still making gold with guardian's blessing, until it's time to come out and gank mid safely with stone of gaia.
If they heal, they most likely have a grab, stun, root or pull. Use pestilence and stone of gaia to out last them. You're going to need a gank to kill them, so have emperor's armor to tower dive and finish them off if they like to hide in their tower/phoenix.

Just make sure get out of his ult in time, have lots of hp, leap of faith either away or into him. Use your ult to slow him and then 2 to 1 if you need to crow bar him off or kill him.

Just don't fight her if she has crits. Make sure you know where she is half the time and make sure you're facing her way if she hasn't used her 3 yet. Her ult is nasty since you're in the air for so long, she can wait for the full second and a half to yank you.

This build is full 40% CDR and devastating to all of your victims.

Just don't, unless you take her by surprise.

So, here's a guide to one of the best warriors around. If you're trying her out for the first time or are in the top 10 Nike's, like me, you'll find these builds and tips quite fun. It'll be easy to push back the solo and jungler at the same time. Try not to spam laugh vgs as you're getting their blue buff. :P
Since you use guardian's blessing, all you need to do is poke the opponent after you have your 2 (Plan of Action) while hitting front minions or archer minions in the lane.
You can auto cancel by using your 2 (plan of action) after your second auto attack. This causes you to have 4 swings to clear minions/jungle camps. It's very useful when farming or boxing multiple people at once. After your use plan of action, you can keep it on for the added fear factor that you'll either rend them if they get too close or have an enhanced ult if you're getting ganked.
If you're really just wanting to clear to steal their blue buff, which is recommended, make sure you know where their jungler is, because if it's an awilix, you're going to need her to be on the opposite jungle. Any other jungle, it'll be okay if they're around their speed buff or in mid. Use leap of faith over the jungle wall, hit them with 2 auto's then use your 2(Plan of Action) to cancel your combo, so you can hit all 3 of the monsters again for a total of 4 swings. If you aren't able to destroy the large jungle fast enough, just rend it to finish it off while poking the solo laner or jungler if they come to check your progress on their buff. (Try not to spam laugh after you take their buff)
Depending on whether you're in the lead or not, you'll have to gank mid constantly around the 5-10 minute mark if you want to be a nice solo laner.
If you see yourself in this part of the game, it probably means, you are at around 15-25 mins and you've taken all their towers and maybe a phoenix or two.
Your passive is now fully or almost activated, giving your team +8% bonus power and +6% bonus movement speed.
Your full-time job now is to initiate, gank and peel.
To initiate, do what you would as if you're ganking them. if you added Blink as the second relic, use it to initiate and then ult with Sentinel of Zeus. No matter how long your enemies have played this game, they'll never be able to anticipate when you're going to blink. If you chose to use Horrific as the relic, Leap of Faith> Sentinel of Zeus>Plan of Action>Rend their adc or mid to distract them.
Don't ever leave your adc/mid alone. Always be within a valiant leap from them in case their jungler collapses on them so you can jump on them and help in the impending team fight or flight. Prioritize your adc/mid to your guardian and jungler.
To create peel, use your 3 (valiant leap). This is good when your opponent(s) has a grab on your adc/mid/assassin. You're trying to keep them alive, so use your relics like horrific, if you've used your ult already. If you haven't used your ult yet and it's available, use it to save the adc/mid/assassin.
In all, Nike is very fun to play since you can poke the solo laner, fight off the jungler and gank without having to go back so often.
She has high sustain with her passive from the 2, giving your 70 ~ 100 hp5 if you build her full tank with gaia.
Her regular passive means then you'll be in the lead in damage in the late game.
Your passive also gives a speed boost to your adc's and mid's so they can come and go from the fights easier (meaning you're kinda helping their peel and initiation)

Berserker’s Shield is not an item I would build on Nike due to her not being an auto attack base character. Also same deal with Ninja Tabi.
Mystical Mail isn’t a heavily favored item right now due to it being a very costly item and the stats aren’t really worth the 2700 gold price tag.
Runeforged Hammer and Frostbound Hammer aren’t good items on Nike either. Frostbound Hammer gives nothing to a Nike same with Runeforged Hammer they just don’t do anything for the character right now.
Lastly Stone of Gaia is only really built when you are getting it to counter other gods like Kuzenbo or Fenrir due to the passive not being used unless other characters have knock ups or knockbacks
Overall if you fix up the build a little bit this guide will be an amazing guide good job.
Stone of Gaia is a good item on Nike, due to the HP5 to combo with Plan of Action and the health to boost Sentinel of Zeus, but I consider it situational against gods with lots of knockback like Kuzenbo and Sobek, for example. If you want health, I’d suggest items like Hide of the Urchin, Mystical Mail and MAYBE Mail of Renewal and Blackthorn Hammer? I’d like some feedback on Blackthorn Hammer, is it an interesting item for Nike?
So, since Nike’s cooldowns are a pain, I suggest at least 30% CDR, so I’d consider Breastplate of Valor core on her. I’d also suggest Gladiator's Shield and Warrior Tabi to replace the first two items you suggested.
So, an example build would go like:
Against Physical Solo-Laner:
Starter: Round Shield, Chalice of Healing, 3x Healing Potion.
Full Build: Gladiator's Shield, Warrior Tabi, Breastplate of Valor, Oni Hunter's Garb, Hide of the Urchin, Void Shield and either Masamune or Spirit Robe to replace Gladiator's.
Against Magical Solo-Laner:
Starter: Enchanted Buckler, Chalice of Healing, 3x Healing Potion.
Full Build: Ancile, Warrior Tabi, Genji's Guard, Mystical Mail, Hide of the Urchin, Void Shield and Spirit Robe replacing Ancile (but you can also keep it, up to you).
If against a healer, swap Ancile or Genji's Guard with Pestilence, but prioritize CDR items afterwards.
That said, we've already discussed her issue with being shut down with CC...and this is typically going to involve both Plan of Action AND Rend. If the enemy has an ability that can just straight up interrupt her, it shuts her wave-clear / poke / harass down. It's difficult for her this way.
So in those cases, what are your suggested strategies? How will you deal with that? (The easiest option is just to not choose Nike, haha)
Sure, you can try to force those abilities out of the enemy, or in some cases you may not be bothered because they're more concerned about clearing their own minions first...but let's just concern ourselves with a situation where if you try to Rend, they're likely going to try to immediately interrupt the cast.
Option 1 is to play passive. Get that Guardian's Blessing and play under tower.
Another option I can see is focusing early-game on basic attacks. She's one of the few gods with good cleaves in her basics, which can help speed clear when focusing on that. Her basic attack progression is 1 / 1 / 1.5x. From memory, her first 2 attacks are cleaves, with the third being a single-target overhead strike...does that sound right?
On that basis, if she hits 3 minions on those cleaves with Berserker's handy, instead of 1% regen per swing, she'll get 2%...1% from the first minion hit, 0.5% per each additional. She'll then get enhanced sustain from the item, and with the early AS from both Ninja Tabi + Berserker's Shield, she should be able to clear fairly well.
At least, it should be a consideration in my estimation, rather than just struggle for the whole laning phase.
I would still eventually convert over to the typical protection/CDR ability build type...though Frostbound Hammer is still a potentially functional item for her. She has pretty limited CC in her kit, and that at least adds another measure of CC for her.
I have multiple builds, not just two if you'd just click the drop down to see the safer builds.
This is a guide for people to try another god and how to try her.
Saying she is going to get shutdown by other gods by hard cc, why build cdr if her abilities are being cc'd? When a chaac ults you in solo, are you going to run while he has a slow on you getting free autos on you, or are you going to auto him back and rend him off? When you're in the lane with a guardian that just cc'd your rend, you're just going to stop farming? It's better to have your autos do the farming and the rend to attack from a safe distance. If they get close, auto them and wave.
And why build CDR at all if you're just going to get shut down by hard CC? Because early in laning you bypass that by going basic attack. But as the game transitions to more teamfights, you're likely going to have opportunities to use your abilities without interruption by the chaos of the fight and the likelihood players aren't going to be holding their CC specifically to shut you down.
And in that case, Berserker's is an item you'll replace late anyway. Ninja vs Warrior isn't a huge issue in the end, as it's just a 20 power difference, so it's not like you absolutely need to replace Ninja. So the transition isn't difficult.
The question is does Gladiator's Shield procs twice with Rend + Plan of Action? If it doesn't, I'd go by Berserker's Shield way, even though she is a ability-based warrior.
Also trust me, Frostbound Hammer is somehow functional on Nike, I've already tested.
Your guide looks good but there are some points to discuss.
I don't see runeforge Hammer working nice on her. I mean, it will only work when the enemy is on the effect of your ultimate, which has a high cooldown of 100 secs.
Second I would just recommend you reach at least 30% of cooldown on her. Nike really depends of her slills to do something in the game and her base cooldowns are very high (almost 20 secs). Plus, have your Sentinel of Zeus ready sooner is algo good.
And I think you are "forcing" saying nike is the best warrior. She is nice for beginners and extremely hard to kill, but is not the best :v
Edit: Sentinel of Zeus makes you cc immune for a brief moment (from the time you cast the skill until you gain the Shield) and if well timed can save you from something like No Escape or Paolao
Also, with Frostbound Hammer in his seasoned build, Runeforged will also work anytime Nike connects with her basics...you forgot about that, and it's obvious Ray is catering to her basic attacks with the presence of Ninja Tabi and Berserker's Shield.
That said, she's not going to be outputting that much damage, with 0 pen in her build, and the 10% added damage of Rune isn't really worth it IMO...but it can be somewhat functional.
Berserker's should be replaced late though, and there are only 6 items listed in the first build, so that's an oversight Ray should fix. Agreed also with 30%+ CDR if possible, except when doing that basic attack focus thing. Don't feel either build is really optimal.
