These greaves offer a small amount of protection in combat and provide Odin with early CDR which is a big part of Odin's build.
Thebes offers cost-effective early game protections, and minor health regen. While you build stacks on the gauntlet, you can work toward the Stone of Gaia to max out health regen.
These items provide balanced protections and some CDR which can help to make Odin an infuriating nuisance.
Jotunn's adds some penetration and additional CDR,. I personally love Frostbound for the slow which can stack with Gungnir's Dainty Pirouette. Alternatively, Masamune will add damage, movement speed, and minor protections.
A common strategy with Odin is to utilize the Blink Rune and his leap to cover a lot of ground and surprise/trap the enemy in his Ult. The relic dagger makes it possible to do that more often. My recommendation would be to swap with Frostbound.
Blink Rune is a critical relic for capitalizing on Odin's ultimate. The Aegis Amulet and Heavenly Wings offer some help escaping if you find yourself without your leap.
These items serve to make Odin a terrifying source of burst damage. Masamune adds movement speed, power, and minor protections, Jotunn's maxes CDR and adds minor penetration, and Frostbound offers a slow which can stack with Gungnir's Dainty Pirouette (I seriously hate how weak that ability is).

Select your boots based on how aggressive you want to be and purchase the gauntlet to start building protections.
Jotunn's is very helpful to provide penetration, but I like the Witchblade for attack and movement speed boosts.

If you opted for Witchblade early, you can bring in Jotunn's or Brawler's at this point to add penetration.

Odin is a flexible and very dangerous god. His abilities allow for ambushing enemies and controlling their movements; however, it's necessary to find a balance between protection and damage as he will often be on the front lines. Odin's abilities are critical to effectively using him, but most builds avoid mana regen, so choose your moment carefully and make the most of the mana you have.
Odin's primary combo takes the form:
Raven Shout -> Lunge -> Gungnir's Might
Raven Shout will set up your leap ability, Lunge, with an explosion of damage when you land. Use the leap to enter into the fray suddenly and follow with Gungnir's Might to slow any enemies trying to escape. Swapping Gungnir's Might for Ring of Spears when available will ensure a more effective capture of enemies trying to escape.
PATH TO VALHALLA
Odin is empowered as he escorts fallen warriors to Valhalla. Whenever any god dies on the battleground, Odin gains a bonus to Movement Speed and Power. This effect can stack up to 5 times.
Duration: 8 seconds
Movement Speed per Stack: 4%
Power per Stack: 8%
LUNGE
Odin lunges to his target location, doing damage to all nearby enemies.
Damage: 120/165/210/255/300 +70% of physical power
Radius: 20
Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds
Mana Cost: 45/50/55/60/65
RAVEN SHOUT
Odin summons a flock of Ravens that create a shield around him. When the shield expires it explodes outward, dealing damage to nearby enemies based on how much health it had remaining. If the shield is at full health, it deals additional bonus damage.
The shield will not expire while Odin is using Lunge, and will always detonate upon landing.
Note: Does not protect from execute effects.
Shield Health/Damage: (100/175/250/325/400 +60% of physical power)*1.15
Duration: 4 seconds
Radius: 20
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Mana Cost: 50/55/60/65/70
GUNGNIR'S MIGHT
Odin does a sweeping spear attack that hits twice dealing damage and slowing all enemies around him on both hits.
Damage per Hit: 45/65/85/105/125 +30% of physical power
Slow: 40%
Slow Duration: 2/2.2/2.4/2.6/2.8 seconds
Radius: 20
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Mana Cost: 70
RING OF SPEARS
Odin summons a wall of spears that blocks his enemies movement, but Odin and his allies may move freely through. It does not block attacks. Enemies inside the ring have their attack speed lowered, and are prevented from healing. Odin is immune to Slow and Root effects while in his Ring.
Enemies that die inside Ring of Spears grant Odin a permanent bonus to Physical Power.
Note: Odin doesn't need to land the killing blow to gain a stack.
Attack Speed Reduction: 20/30/40/50/60%
Healing Reduction: 100%
Duration: 5s
Physical Power per Stack: 5 (Max 10 Stacks)
Radius: 30
Cooldown: 75 seconds
Mana Cost: 100
Pros:
-Flexible builds (High Damage or High Sustain)
-Great crowd control
-High burst damage
Cons:
-Offensive escape ability
(That's seriously all I could come up with)
The builds in this guide offer options to build Odin as a damage-absorbing crowd-controller, an intimidating ambush artist, or a balanced nuisance capable of killing enemies and setting up allies. Critical elements of playing as Odin involve coordinating his ambush for maximum damage (if you are in a position to work with teammates) and utilizing mana efficiently to ensure you have your abilities at the critical moments. Odin is an excellent front line leader; capable of initiating attacks and holding his own in chaotic full team brawls; however, the defensive/escape nature of his abilities forces you to choose your moment. Attempting to ambush with his leap will leave you without an escape, and using the Raven Shout-Lunge combo, will leave you without a shield ability.
BIRD BOMB
As Odin kill fifteen enemies in a single match using Raven Shout and Lunge together.
CAGE MATCH
As Odin kill four enemy Gods inside of your Ultimate, Ring of Spears.

Stone of Gaia isn't that great of an item, unless you're playing assault. If this is for Arena, just go back to the fountain. No need for Stone of Gaia.
Relic Dagger needs to be in your build earlier so you can spam Blink Rune plus Ring of Spears.
Jotunn's Wrath has no place on a tank build. Try Breastplate of Valor instead.
Witchblade should be considered here.
For your way too aggressive build, I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do.
Deal damage? Because you have almost no penetration in that build. Frostbound Hammer isn't good on a damage build. Relic Dagger isn't good if you're trying to do burst damage.
My suggestion:
Warrior Tabi
Jotunn's Wrath - the 20% CDR will help and the +10 penetration/+40 power are good
Masamune-utility/damage/some early defense
The Crusher
Brawler's Beat Stick
Mantle of Discord - pick this up earlier if needed.
For your "Balanced" build, I'm not quite sure where you're trying to go with it, but here's my idea of a balanced build: Power/Penetration/protections. What do you think about this:
Warrior Tabi
Jotunn's Wrath
Breastplate of Valor
Pestilence - good team support against healers
Void Shield - good for physical allies
Brawler's Beat Stick
If you wanted to be more tanky, I'd skip the Jotunn's Wrath and go straight into Breastplate of Valor. I'd get Relic Dagger somewhere in the middle too.
And as boogiebass mentioned below, the skill order needs work. Let me know what you think.
