My opinion
Ninja Tabi I suggest that you get this instead of 
Warrior Tabi beacuse 
Thanatos does enough damage with his Death Scythe and Warrior Tabi just overcaps his power and you don't need it.It's better to have some attack speed. Jotunn's Wrath or Bloodforge for second item.This depends on what you want both items do same damage.If you want cd or shield that saves health. The Executioner or 
Titan's Bane as 4th item.If they have tanks both items work nicely.Depends on you though do you want higher crit or more attack speed. Deathbringer now this is where you become deadly.I suggest getting Wind Demon first beacuse passive is so good.So use it before Hi-Rez nerf it.
Thanatos Skills
Harvester of Souls-So this is Thanatos passive and this why he is able to make pentakills easily and with Bloodforgehe gets 80% of his hp back with one kill.But be careful people usually buy anti heals like 
Divine Ruin or 
Pestilence and other items. Death Scythe-This is most important skill use it to kill secure or how other people call it "ks" but if they say this there is always a mute button :P.Use it also if you can't reach the target or they are trying to escape.Be careful not to miss it has long cd if you don't kill. Scent of Death-So this is just movement speed use it always if you chase someone or you want boost your damage. Soul Reap-This is just a skill to use to interrupt other god's skills and dashes or ks if you are lucky.Always level other skills over this trust me it's just not worth it. Hovering Death-My favourite skill.Use this one to execute tanks on low hp beacuse they usually don't buy aegis but there are cases where they do so always check who has aegis and who used it so you don't waste this and end up dead which happend to me so many times.

I play Thanatos only in Arena
Sometimes Conquest
I've gotten 8 pentas already with him and I want a build that's better then my current one so more pentas.
Anyway, damn dude. I feel that a build like this is something only a seasoned thana player, such as yourself, would be able to utilize efficiently.
However, it's very hard to argue with results like these. Most impressive.
Also, I'm not 100% sure your main build would be the most viable for conquest, so you might want to note somewhere that this is for Arena only (not a thana player, so I can only offer conjecture).
