Notes Sometimes you might need to take or there could be a game where they have High HP gods in that case can be taken. And for Physical Defense items all of them are situational, if u want big antiheal because they have Horus Support, Guan Solo or Lifesteal Pele jungle having and is always a great choice. suits Ra so well because once it is stacked u get 40 prots for 8 seconds and burst of 20% movement speed for the same duration, Also those stack are kept until both Magical and Physical hit 4 stacks. So anytime you stand close to your support with auras + your heal you can have up to almost 200 physical prots and that is crazy.
and are both good magical defense items as they give you movement speed. Whenever you do not need to build physical defense item having one of these is not a bad choice.

How is this a mid lane build without Soul Reaver?

It's at least listed in the situationals though yeah, usually more core (especially over any defense item).

I agree guys I am about to update it add more build variants and also add and tweak situational items

(Hardcore Ra main here) It looks nice, but for solo lane. I will try it, but full dmg Ra that hits like a truck is my fav :)

I love to play Ra a bit tanky but whenever u feel like you do not need so much prots then i would go for Lotus Crown and swap Genji for Soul Reaver or Spear of Deso and u ll have a lot of power also sometimes there is no need to go Divine Ruin so at that spot i usually take Charons Coin. So 40% pen and even better sustain.

I agree w/ Nthng here...I think you're cutting into your damage potential as a mid/mage too much with 2 items that provide either 0 pen, power or other added offensive benefit.

One thing you can consider for a god like who has no escape is to consider a couple of alternative items. Personally, I like picking up -> as the starter, grab an early for CDR, and consider in place of . Focus and Charon's provide some nice utility that could help situationally to keep you alive.

, while important in most builds, should maybe be in the situational items section rather than core in every build. doesn't apply the anti-heal as well as other mages that have better / easier to connect abilities. and shouldn't be in there at all IMO. BoV and Genji's can be considered as late game, very situational items if you're facing a comp strongly in one damage type or the other and you're struggling to stay alive in any encounter.

Okey I have updated it. I did put there full dmg build and all the variants with physical defense items and I also included magical defense items that give movement speed as I sometimes use them when needed.

So I still personally suggest a -> build example. I also would say that you seem to be very attached to with each build example using it. IMO BoT is only really core for . likes it (okay, any mage will appreciate the power and mana), but he doesn't NEED it.

If you want to stick by your guns for this, that's okay, but I think there are very viable builds that don't use it.

So for me, I would offer 3 starters...1 w/ Sands -> BoT, 1 w/ Sands -> Spear tree (e.g. moving directly into Deso or Divine), and 1 w/ Conduit -> Spear tree (Deso).

I would also say more forethought into which build you use at the start of a match is good. What I mean here is that you're still providing 1 example build w/ , and I just never, ever think that's a good item for him unless you did some weird off-meta back-line tanky Supp for funsies. If you absolutely need phys prots, and by that I mean 4 enemies are physical AND you're struggling to stay alive mid-game or later, then you maybe think, "hey this is going to be dangerous for me, rather than Sands/Pendulum I should get Conduit/Focus (for Focus' passive utility MS and mitigation)." And then, maybe on the CDR side, you're picking up Deso and either SG or Myrddin, and if needed at that point, you get a late BoV. BoV is IMO always going to be a better phys prot choice over Contagion for Ra.

Finally, in your builds, you might consider grabbing Reaver earlier. In your first full build example, you might consider switching Ob Shard and Reaver.

Book of Thoth is pretty meta right now in Mid unless you're building Divine (Unless ur Kuku).

Conduit is a pretty meh starter in mid right now. Especially since Chronos' Pendant sucks.

I see that there's still a Conduit build recommendation on official Smite Discord (Conduit/Focus, Deso, Charon, Myrddin, Reaver, SG/Divine). So even though it's an option, it's not a good one right now?

It was more of just a extra alternative I threw in, not really the main one I recommend. More of a non-conq alt I guess but in reality you could just use the non stacking build for that (assuming it's arena/joust or something).

Got it. Wish HR would balance the Devos/Thoth stackers a bit so they didn't immediately become the meta when they were buffed.

I do love to play book of thoth as it gives huge power spike as a first item + flat pen and also taking soul reaver as 5th item is completely okey if you feel like it ofc you can build obsi shard as a last item. It is all situational as sometimes you might need to take soul reaver sooner rather than later. Also having gem of focus is nice yeah but it lacks power and also CDR even tho the stats of the item are good but tankiness of that item will never be equal to any of the defense items listed. And i ll rather have physical defense item than few % of movement speed and mitigation as most of the junglers/solo laners will catch you even with high movement speed, most played junglers like Ne Zha, Lancelot, Pele, Da ji, Bellona, Guan Yu, Amaterasu and many more will get to you either way so i prefer having physical defense items because the longer i stay alive the more i can do. And Breastplate of Determination once stscked up gives 20% movement speed and 40 of both prots + CDR. But that is my opinion as Ra main.

The reason i picked divine ruin in main build is that i kept facing hunters in mid.
